CONFERENCE PROGRAM
IBC: Best Practices in Global Organizations
Saint Leo University 2015
Welcome, As associate vice president of International Affairs and dean of the Donald R. Tapia School of Business, I am honored to host you for our Sixth Annual International Business Conference. This year’s theme of Best Practices in Global Organizations reflects Saint Leo University’s stature as an institution of international consequence and our core values of Personal Development, Excellence, and Community. The conference provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and colleagues to examine a myriad of issues that impact global business. Many contributors to this year’s conference are thought leaders on topics including political, economic, social, and technology elements that are reshaping world trade and business dynamics. Saint Leo’s academic community serves students from every state and more than 80 nations. The conference presents an opportunity for students and faculty, as well as local and global communities, to share their knowledge and ideas and develop new partnerships at the academic or institutional level. Whether you had a relatively short drive to the campus or traveled from overseas, I hope you find the conference engaging, useful, and most important to be the start or continuation of a relationship with Saint Leo University and your colleagues. Saint Leo University, the Tapia School of Business, and Office of International Affairs are honored to have you attend the conference and welcome you to our community. Sincerely,
Dr. Michael Nastanski Professor and Dean, Donald R. Tapia School of Business Associate Vice President of International Affairs
