History of our vessels NZL41: Raced by Japan in 1995, came second in the Louis Vuitton Challenge to Team New Zealand. NZL68: Originally commissioned in Germany in 2003, Team New Zealand acquired and used her as a trial boat prior to theirr 2007 America’s Cup campaign.

Escape the city for an island getaway. Soak up the sunshine and fresh air as you journey to Waiheke. Listen as the crew engage you with their knowledge of Auckland, the Hauraki Gulf and more. Take the opportunity to get involved and help trim the sails and take the helm. On arrival at Matiatia a bus will take you to Cable Bay where you can enjoy breathtaking views back across to Auckland. A lunch platter is included in the cost of your tour, but drinks are excluded. If you are feeling up to it take the gentle 20 minute walk back to the ferry or opt for a taxi transfer. Return to Auckland on our scheduled services.
