MALTA

Host family accommodation is an ideal way to fully experience the Maltese culture and way of life (not to mention the food). All of our families are located in the Sliema/St. Julian’s area, close to the sea and within walking distance of the school. Our Accommodation Coordinator visits all the families every 6 months to make sure that all is kept up to standard.

Roma Hotel Hotel Roma is a family-run refurbished hotel situated in Malta's popular prime resort of Sliema, enjoying spectacular views of the Mediterranean coastline. Apart from its prime seafront location, it is within walking distance of the fashionable Sliema shopping centre. This value for money hotel is surrounded by shops, cafe`s, bars, restaurants and is just across the road from a rocky public beach. Sliema Chalet Hotel The newly refurbished Sliema Chalet Hotel enjoys spectacular views of the Mediterranean coastline. It is within walking distance of Sliema centre and surrounded by shops, cafe's, bars and restaurants. Buses for Valletta and St Julians stop opposite the hotel. There is a rocky beach just across the road. Accommodation is comfortable, rooms are air conditioned/centrally heated and have ceiling fans. Facilities also include satellite TV, direct dial telephone, radio and personal safe. Seaview rooms have balconies and may be booked against a supplement. Accommodation in Malta: Balco Hostel

Balco Harmony Hostel Balco Harmony is a family run first class rated hostel with the lowest prices available. They are situated in Gzira just a few minutes away from Sliema. Each dorm has a maximum of 4 beds with its own private facilities. All rooms are approx 20 sqr metres and come with private toilet, shower and wash hand basin, reading lights over the beds, in room telephone which operates by card, desk with nest of drawers and surge protection for electronics used on the desk. All rooms have balconies, some of which have distant sea views. The top floor room has a terrace and a lovely sea view of the grand harbour and yacht marina. Standard room facilities include safety deposit box, fridge and satellite television at no extra cost. Heating and cooling facilities are available in certain rooms at an extra cost. All their in house guests can make use of their fully equipped kitchen including all kitchenware. Towels are changed twice a week and room cleaning including linen is carried out once a week. Balco Symphony Hostel Balco Symphony is a family run first class rated hostel with the lowest prices available. They are situated in Gzira just a few minutes away from Sliema. All 17 rooms are for single occupancy. The rooms are carefully designed and having the facilities of a 90ltr fridge, hair dryer, direct dialing telephone, sat TV/radio and balcony or bay window. Complementing this property there are 2 kitchens and dining area for in house guests at no extra charge. The residence has no curfew and all residents are given a front door key and may enter the residence at any time. All rooms are cleaned once a week, towels are changed twice a week and garbage is collected from all the rooms. Laundry is also available to all guests at a charge. Mercury Residence The Mercury residence is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. You will be living in a typical town street of Sliema with hospitable and friendly neighbours. The Mercury residence offers the freedom of self catering accommodation in comfortable apartments right in the heart of Sliema. There are 18 apartments on 5 floors. A passenger lift services all floors. The apartments are comfortable furnished, have a fully equipped kitchenette (with electric 4 burner top and oven), dining area and private bathroom. Each apartment is equipped with a safety deposit box and most apartments have a balcony or terrace. There is free unlimited Wi-Fi in each apartment and a self-service laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers (at a small charge). Pricing is available upon request

Alborada Aparthotel Alborada Aparthotel

Alborada Aparthotel is 50 metres from the seafront and a 5-minute walk from the Sliema Bus and Ferry Terminals. The Alborada Apart Hotel’s guests can enjoy discounted rates at a nearby club, where an outdoor pool and sun loungers are available. The Alborada Holiday Apartments consist of 33 modern 2, 3 and 4 bedded studio apartments with a total accommodation capacity of up to 85 guests.
