growth in qualified enterostomal therapy nurses (ETN). Consequently, the quality of care and service for patients with wound, ostomy and continence has improved. These ETNs and other health professionals working in the field of stoma wound and continence nursing seek professional development opportunities to update and refine their knowledge, skills and practice. it is essential for ETNs to stay current and share the latest in evidence based practice. By combining the biennial APETNA meeting with the 3rd JIEM (Joint Effort Indonesian and Malaysian) scientific meeting and the 3rd ISMWOC (Indonesian Scientific Meeting of wound ostomy and continence nurses) it is expected that there will be a massive knowledge sharing among ETNs in Asia Pacific region. Considering cultural variability and different political situations among Asia Pacific countries, it is important to develop a mutual understanding about each country’s unique characteristics, which may enable ETNs to develop a broader perspective in shaping their practice.

The theme for this 7th APETNA Congress is ‘Create Enormous Opportunity for future innovation’. Objectives 1. To create a knowledge and experience sharing activity in Asia pacific region 2. To discuss and innovative formulate into best practice guidelines among Asia pacific 3. To introduce benefit of ET nurses practices to the global community 4. To introduce the latest technology in wound, ostomy and continence area, along with the technology

Aim To improve the quality of patient care in the wound, ostomy and continence arena in the Asia pacific regions with the theme of the conference being CREATE ENORMOUS OPPORTUNITY FOR FUTURE INNOVATION

Time and location This event will be conducted in 14-16 April 2017 at IPB Convention Center Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. Delegates Wound, ostomy and continence nurse clinicians, practitioners, researchers and educators from Asia Pacific regions.
