Jazz & Gino’s Pizza

Jazz has always played a big role in the culture of Chicago and now you get to dive right into it! The Jazz Showcase is the oldest jazz club in Chicago, founded in 1947 by jazz master Joe Segal. The club has launched careers for some of the world’s most famous jazz artists, and now you’re getting a private show at the joint! All that jazz is going to work up an appetite, so what better way to keep the rhythm rockin’ than to bring in the world’s most famous deep dish pizza spot to cater your private concert with loads of appetizers, pizzas, and other delicious Chicago treats.

The Gino’s East story began in 1966 when two taxi drivers and a friend, frustrated with rush hour traffic, decided to open a pizzeria just off Michigan Ave. and Superior St. in Chicago. The original Gino’s East became an instant hit and legend with local Chicagoans, national celebrities, and visitors from around the world.

Tommy’s Gun’s Garage Performance and Dinner

Not long after the turn of the century, in a decade known as the Roaring Twenties, the manufacture and sale of alcoholic beverages was outlawed and strictly prohibited. Tommy Gun’s Garage is an ALL AGES APPROPRIATE Audience Interactive “Speakeasy” that offers a musical comedy review wit da gangsters, da flappers and YOU!!!!! (uh, dat’s audience participation). After a delicious sitdown dinner, join “Vito”, “Gloves”, and da “gangsters” and da “flappers” for non-stop comedy and dangerous fun. You will be transported back to da 1920’s complete wit da boss’s 1928 Model “A” Ford, Roaring Twenties music and memorabilia from da Twenties. Da mugs and da molls dance and sing da Charleston and udder musical selections from Cole Porter to George Gershwin, Fats Waller, Duke Ellington and more…. All played by Chicago’s Sinfully Orchestra.
