Android Basic Hacks and Tips This session will provide basic tips and hacks to help you improve your personal and professional productivity.

Connecting the Dots in Office 365: How all the tools fit together. It has been a long day with lots of information on lots of tools. How do they all relate to each other? As the day comes to an end, we will demonstrate using these tools together in a few scenarios you may encounter at work. Rather than “Uuhg, another tool I have to learn”, this session should help you understand how to use each standalone tool together in order to work more efficiently. The dots do connect and we’ll show you how.

Digital Security Horror Stories and How to Protect Yourself Paul Czaparpata, Vice President of Technology Solutions, will give a presentation on real life scenarios of security breaches, identity theft and tips on how not to become a victim.

DSS: Data at Your Fingertips During this session you will be introduced to numerous data options that are at your disposal within our Decision Support System. You will be shown the many dashboards that can be utilized, and be given a tutorial on how to use this data for your reporting needs.

Email – Management Tips & Tricks During this discussion, you will learn about common problems encountered with email and how to avoid them. You will also take away new tricks to help manage email more efficiently with existing features, as well as, features that are coming soon.

iPhone Basic Hacks and Tips This session will provide basic tips and hacks to help you improve your personal and professional productivity.

KCTCS Intranet and Office 365: The Big Picture for your Digital Workplace This session is an overview of the KCTCS Intranet, including all of the tools in Office 365. You will get a better understanding of the parts that make up the intranet and how they all fit together. We will also discuss the top things you should know about the Intranet, as well as provide a brief introduction to some of the newest tools designed to empower you to achieve more at work.

Latest Updates and Newest Tools in Office 365 The Office 365 portion of the Digital Workplace is changing fast. Come to this session where we discuss some of the newest available tools including Delve, Office 365 Video, Forms, and Sway. We’ll also take a peek into the future and look what is coming that will help you achieve more.

OneDrive for Business: OneDrive is for YOU! This session is an overview session of a part of Office 365 called OneDrive for Business. OneDrive for Business is for ONE person and that person is YOU, so come to this session to see how this tool can benefit you in your work.

PeopleSoft Admissions & Student Records What is new in PeopleSoft Student Records & Admissions? Do you have questions about the online application or readmission application in student selfservice? Questions about enrolling students, using the academic requirement reports, or any other areas of Student Records? This session is for admissions and student records staff that work with the academic records of our students. This session will begin with any new updates to share and then a Q&A addressing items submitted and asked by attendees. To save time and provide additional resources if necessary, please email your questions in advance of the summit to: [email protected] with subject line: Tech Summit PS Questions. These questions will be addressed first, followed by any other questions asked during the session.

PeopleSoft Faculty/Advisor Center The Advisor and Faculty Centers provide several tools to manage rosters, communicate with your students and advisees, run advisement reports, and advising transcripts. Bring your own devise for this hands on session exploring the ins and outs of faculty self-service.

SharePoint Online: Advanced Features of Document Libraries In this session we will discuss how to stay organized by utilizing columns and views to take your document libraries to the next level. This is a session that you won’t want to miss if you have ever tried to find a document in a document library and failed!

SharePoint Online: Team Site Owner Need to Know In this session we will discuss a few items that every team site owner needs to know. We will start out discussing Team Site Security. How to add individuals to your site and alter permissions for your team. Then we will discuss everyone’s favorite topic, Team Site Looks & Feel. If you want to apply a new theme to your site or give your team site a logo you will not want to miss this session! We will finish out the session by customizing the front page of our site with new content and components.

Stop! Collaborate and Listen! - The Hype About Skype Do you conduct virtual meetings or need to virtually collaborate with others? This session is for you! We will discuss the enhancements and new features of Skype for Business and how to use it to its full potential, making your meetings more productive. This session will also discuss Skype features that are now available to KCTCS students.

Student Self-Service and the KCTCS Mobile App The KCTCS App provides students the ability to enroll in classes, check grades, view class assignments from Blackboard, and several other features all from a mobile phone or tablet. We will demo the KCTCS App and provide some highlights from PeopleSoft self-service for students. This session is great for faculty, advisors and staff that provides assistance to students.

Visual Schedule Builder Visual Schedule Builder (VSB) is the new easy and innovative way for students and faculty to develop a schedule. Finally, a tool that allows VSB is a tool that allows students and advisors to create a student schedule in a fraction of the usual time. In this session, you will get hands-on experience using VSB and see how easy it can be to help students create a great course schedule.

What is OnBase? Learn about the new version of OnBase (15.174) available for Windows 10 and Office 16. Review best practices in OnBase and discussion around new and existing processes that lead to more effective electronic document management.

What is Radius? Come learn about a new approach to CRM for Higher Education. Radius connects prospective students, manage inquiries seamlessly and personalize communications at each stage of the student's journey.

What is Starfish? Learn about the student success tool that can assist colleges in scaling its student support initiatives in a way that enables students to engage more effectively with the campus community and, ultimately, achieve their academic goals.

Zero to OneNote Hero! Come to this session to learn how to get the most out of OneNote – both in the classroom and in your own life! Starting with the basics of OneNote, we’ll show how to work with the tool and will provide plenty of examples and tips. Then, we’ll graduate to the OneNote Class Notebook, a sort of OneNote template tool that helps you organize and share a collaborative workspace for an entire class of students.
