ZAGREB AUTO SHOW 2016 Powered by INA CLASS ZAGREB AUTO SHOW, the International Salon of Automobiles, Motorcycles, Commercial Vehicles and Supporting Industry will celebrate its comeback at the Zagreb Fair from 5 - 10 April 2016. The Salon is authorized by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers OICA. Zagreb Auto Show 2016 will be held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar Kitarović. In order to organize the Salon at the highest level the City of Zagreb, the Zagreb Tourist Board, Zagreb City Holding and the Zagreb Fair are directly involved into the preparation and realization of the project. Recognizing the importance of the multiplier effects for the City economy, as well as the promotional message to be sent via the Salon from Zagreb to the world, for the first time the Zagreb Tourist Board is participating in operational preparations aimed at profiling Zagreb into an even more attractive destination for foreign and domestic tourists. Zagreb Auto Show is a national treasure, an internationally recognized event of a special social and media significance for the Republic of Croatia, prepared with lots of love. By combining positive effects of all channels of market communications with the strength of personal contact Zagreb Auto Show provides more – a unique live experience of a new product and the overall supply.

Challenge … the real one At the upcoming Zagreb Auto Show the visitors will be able to see their favourite vehicle brands in premiere editions, many of which will have their premiere shows right after the Geneva Salon. Zagreb Auto Show will occupy all available pavilions and open-air space of the Zagreb Fair. 1

There will be a total of 440 exhibitors from 33 countries at 70,000 m2 of exhibition space 14 pavilions and open-air space. PRESS & VIP Day On the first day of the Zagreb Auto Show, 5 April from 8.00 – 16.00 h we organize PRESS&VIP Day with press conferences of exhibitors and their guests.
PIT STOP 4 – 10 April 2016 Zagreb Auto Show will also live at the centre of the City of Zagreb at the Ban Josip Jelačić Square, from 4–10 April, where at a specially designed space called PIT STOP daily presentations of sponsors, exhibitors and organizers will take place.
STAR OF THE SALON SELECTION The journalists to accredit for this year’s Zagreb Auto Show will give special recognitions to the most attractive vehicles of the Salon in several categories. The awarding of recognitions and the proclamation of the Star of the Salon will take place on 7 April at 19.30 h at the Dverce Palace, Katarina Square 6.
KVARTOTEKA from 29 March on The announcement of the Salon in Zagreb quarters. The entire programme will be held at the mobile stage branded with the Zagreb Auto Show sign. The programme will host representatives of the organizer announcing the Zagreb Auto Show and its attractions.
CAR AND MOTORCYCLE FORUM Organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the Car and Motorcycle Forum will be held on 4 April, before the opening of the Salon, as a business introduction to the Zagreb Auto Show. Some of the topics to be covered: The impact of changes in the VAT Law - abolition of tax deduction for legal entities – on the vehicle market in the Republic of Croatia; the Law on Road Traffic Safety; Settlements for payment of claims and illegal employment, Sale of motor vehicles - work plan and incentives for the future, Roadworthiness and increased number of people killed in traffic accidents.
HUMANITARIAN HEART OF THE ZAGREB AUTO SHOW On Friday, 8 April the Salon will be open till 23.00 h. That same evening the humanitarian concert will be held. All proceeds from the tickets sold from 19.00 – 22.30 h will be donated to the University Hospital Sveti Duh, Department for Gynecology, for the purchase of a special part for the US probe. VINTAGE VEHICLES AND BIKERS’ PARADE - ALKA competition on motorcycles 3

The traditional parade of vintage vehicles called Old Timer Show will be held on 9 April from the Ban Josip Jelačić Square to the Zagreb Fair grounds bringing together 300 bikers this year. For the first time we organize the Alka competition on motorcycles for visitors.
HARLEY SHOW On Sunday, 10 April the city will be filled with the roar of Harleys. The unique gathering of 100 Harley-Davidson motorcycles after the parade will be presented to the visitors of the Zagreb Auto Show as well. The programme will be enriched by the presentation of the BLACK LABEL COLLECTION - urban Harley “look“ of the new generation. The biggest attraction will be recently launched model Low Rider® S.

OFFICIAL OPENING The Salon will be officially inaugurated by Mr. Milan Bandić, Mayor of the City of Zagreb, on Tuesday, 5 April 2016 at 18.00 h in the Zagreb Fair Congress Hall. The official opening will be preceded by the Biker's Show, gathering of bikers at the Ban Josip Jelačić square, whose parade will announce the opening of the Zagreb Auto Show.
