White wines Maison Sabadie réserve white, Pays d’Oc, 2014, France Vermentine and Colombard Notes of fresh grapefruit and pineapple. An approachable white, with a lovely classically designed label, that would be the perfect match for drinking either as an aperitif or with a range of light dishes. £15.50 Goleta Sauvignon Blanc, Central Valley, 2014, Chile Sauvignon Blanc Traditional style of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, notes of green pepper and citrus fruits are present on the nose, while the palate shows a fresh crispness. £15.80 Galassia Garganega Pinot Grigio 2014, Italy Garganega and Pinot Grigio Light, fruity and fresh. A tremendously attractive white that one cannot help but like. £16.20 The War Horse Chenin Blanc, Stellenbosch, 2014/15, South Africa Chenin Blanc Sensational, explosively refreshing and cleansing Chenin by tip-top producer Simonsig. A very approachable wine with lovely notes of pears and stone fruits on the nose and palate. £16.80 Da Luca Fiano, Sicily, 2013, Italy Fiano Fresh mouth-watering wine from Sicily sun-baked vineyard, shows a complex array of citrus and thyme on the nose and a rich palate, round fruit finish. £17.20 Maison de la Paix Viognier, Pays d’Oc, 2014, France Viognier A fabulous example of this increasingly popular grape. A pretty clean and fresh style of Viognier with lovely concentrated notes of white peach and white flowers. Perfect for drinking by itself, with white meats and spicy dishes. £17.50 Chardonnay Les Grenadiers, Languedoc, 2013, France Chardonnay Alignan du Vent is one of the most impressive cooperative wineries in the Côtes de Thongue. Their wines perfectly demonstrate Languedoc Roussillon’s drive towards higher quality and a more international style over recent years. Pinot Grigio, Montevento, Veneto, 2012, Italy Pinot Grigio An excellent balance of soft ripe fruit and light refreshing acidity, this shows character of ripe pears, almond and peaches in a classic approachable style. £18.85 Château Pavillon de la Brie, Bergerac, 2014, France Semillon and Sauvignon A cracking wine from Bergerac in south-west France: This is a crisp and refreshing white with zesty lemon tones and a delicious hint of tangerines. £19.90 Bouchard Aine & Fils Chardonnay, Vin de France, 2014, France Chardonnay From legendary Burgundy producer Bouchard, this Chardonnay from the warmer South is a wonderfully balanced and versatile style showing delicate white flower aromas alongside notes of melon and vanilla. £20.50 Charquiño Albariño, Rías Baixas, 2014, Spain Albariño With its fresh lime aromas, tropical fruit and a touch of grassiness on the nose, beautiful balance and soft texture on the palate, this is a superbly crisp, expressive example of Albariño that is excellent as an apéritif or as a partner with shellfish. £21.90 Soave Classico 2014, Corte del Sole, Italy Garganega This really is an extremely impressive expression of the Garganega grape and the Soave region. This white has very focused, mineral fruit. It is beautifully elegant, complex and very stylish indeed. £25 3 Wooly Sheep Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, 2014, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc Intense aromas of passion fruit, elderflower and zesty lemon, with flavours of gooseberry and melon. Wonderful depth of flavour and a crisp finish give a lovely balance. £27

Saint-Veran ‘Les Perriere’, Domaine de la Chapelle, 2014, France Chardonnay A beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced Chardonnay with an elegant nose of subtle Burgundian flavours and hints of smoky richness from its three month spell in barrel. £29.50 Estate Riesling Trocken 2014, Reichsrat Von Buhl, Pfalz, Germany Riesling From a prestigious winemaker (Von Buhl was a favourite with the Queen Mother), this is German Riesling at its very best. A dry wine with crisp notes of limes and stone fruit. A refreshing wine with a lovely finish £32 Chablis, Domaine Louis Robin, 2013, France Chardonnay Chablis will always be a renowned go to on a wine list. This is a stunning example layered with fresh fruit, minerals and spice. Domaine Louis Robin is a family run estate in its eighth generation; the wines are made to a traditional style of Chablis and are of the best quality. £35.20 Pouilly-Fumé, Domaine Tinel Blondelet, Loire Valley, 2012, France Sauvignon Blanc From a small estate in the famous sub-region of PouillyFumé: A stylish elegant Sauvignon Blanc with really good intensity and balance - notes of elderflower and white peach are present on the palate alongside a lovely minerality and a lovely crisp dry finish. £37.20 Meursault Les Tillets, Alain & Christiane Patriarche, Burgundy, 2011, France Chardonnay Alain Patriarche’s is made from 70 year old vines, and has classic mineral notes, good ripeness and depth of fruit. A wine of freshness and precision. £59.50

Rosé wines Maison Sabadie réserve rosé 2014, Pays d’Oc, France Cinsault and Grenache This rosé from the south of France shows a pretty and delicate pink hue, with a ripe, fruit-driven character of raspberry, ripe cherry, and wild strawberry followed by a crisp and refreshing finish. £15.50 Mirabeau Rosé, Provençe, 2014, France Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault From the foothills of the Mont Saint-Victoire, wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant aromas, the palate combining ripe red fruits and zesty apple in a moreish finish. £19.50

Red wines Maison Sabadie réserve rouge, Pays d’Oc, 2014, France Grenache and Merlot An extremely versatile blend of Grenache and Merlot which will appeal to all. Easy to match with all manner of foods, this red has a lovely nose of red and berry fruits, which continues onto the palate. £15.50 Rocca Merlot, Veneto, 2014, Italy Merlot A pure Merlot with a fantastic purity of fruit including damsons and plums; beautifully light in both style and alcohol, this is a fantastic Merlot perfect either as an aperitif or with light meals. £15.80 Maison de la Paix Vieilles Vignes Carignan, Pays d’Oc, 2014, France Carignan Spicy with red fruit flavours, with the old vines yielding less volume and higher concentration. £16.80 Valcheta Malbec, Mendoza, 2014, Argentina Malbec Everything you would expect from a Mendoza Malbec – rich and velvety textured, dark fruit, full body, powerful yet supple tannins and a rich, generous finish. £17.20

Arabella Cabernet Sauvignon, Robertson, 2014, South Africa Cabernet Sauvignon A classy red showing ripe redcurrant and blackberry fruit, this is an excellent example of very pure Cabernet Sauvignon, finished with fine, soft tannins and excellent structure. £17.90 Castillo de Jumilla Monastrell, Jumilla, 2012, Spain Monastrell From one of the oldest estates in Jumilla, this fabulous Monastrell has generous, youthful, ripe fruit on the nose, while the palate is smooth, sensual and rich, with black fruits and exotic spices to the fore. £18.90 Château Bellevue 2012, Bordeaux, France Merlot Château Bellevue is fabulous and drinking very nicely already – with 100% Merlot, the wine is full of ripe redcurrants, plums and subtle, soft tannins from French oak, with a refreshing, succulent finish. £24.50 Chianti Classico 2010, Querciavalle, Tuscany, Italy Sangiovese Chianti Classico just as it should be - bright ruby red with flavours of sweet spice and fragrant red fruit, and a long finish with a velvety mouthfeel. £25.50 Fleurie Grand-Pré, Domaine Lathuilière Gravallon 2013, France Gamay Domaine Lathuilière-Gravallon is a small, family-run domaine now in its 5th generation. Cathy and Cedric aim to strike a balance between the old and the new, with wines that respect the traditions of their ancestors but have one foot firmly in the present. Pure and fresh, this Fleurie shows juicy cherry fruit. £26.20 Smoking Loon Old Vine Zinfandel 2012, California, USA Zinfandel The Old Vine Zinfandel opens up with bold aromas of pomegranate, warm molasses, red currant and vanilla nuances. Concentrated flavours of blackberry, and cinnamon are layered with black pepper, sandalwood and fresh cranberry notes that linger on the finish. £32.50

Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2013, ‘Vieilles Vignes’ Bachey-Legros, France Pinot Noir A delicious Pinot Noir from the prestigious Cote d’Or of Burgundy. Nicely rounded with lovely soft flavours of dark cherries and redcurrants with a touch of spice. £36.50 Côtes du Rhône ‘Les Combelles’, Rhône Valley, 2012, France Grenache and Syrah The initial luscious black berry and cherry aromas that possess a hint of spice, develop wonderfully into fresh red currants, leather and a subtle earthy note with lovely acidity. Finishing with delicate summer strawberries, this wine is elegantly balanced. £40 Gigondas, Domaine de la Maurelle, Rhône Valley, 2012, France Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault Powerful and pure aromas of thyme, rosemary and fresh bay leaf with luscious blackberry, liquorice and spice flavours, all of this is brought together with a wonderful earthiness and a long length. £44.90 Château de Gironville 2008, Cru Bourgeois Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux, France Merlot, Cabarnet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot This red has charming notes of tobacco leaf, cedar wood, blackcurrants and spice box in its medium bodied, soft friendly personality. £56.60 Gevrey-Chambertin ‘Vieilles Vignes’, Gérard Séguin, Burgundy, 2011, France Pinot Noir Elegant with a rich and complex nose, and notes of black fruit and sweet spice with an opulent mouth feel. Séguin’s wines come from old vines of between 60 – 90 years old and consistently produce wines of great power, concentration of fruit and longevity. £70

‘David’ Spumante Rosé NV, Enrico Bedin, Veneto, Italy                                       This Spumante Rosato is bursting with fresh, ripe and succulent raspberry, redcurrants and watermelon aromas and flavours, complemented by a dry, mouth-watering finish. £24.50

Royal Tokaji Late Harvest, 2009, Hungary (50cl) Pale green-gold colour. The nose is more delicate than many a Tokaji, with aromas of ripe peach, exotic fruit and blossom. Moderate palate weight, with a fine balance of intense sweetness and acidic lift. £30

Prosecco Frizzante, Enrico Bedin, Veneto, NV, Italy Packed with fresh, ripe, apple and delicate melon flavours and a clean, crisp dry finish. £27

Taylors Quinta da Vargellas 2001 Powerful, lush and complex aromas for blackcurrant, plums, ripe cherries and dark chocolate with a slight floral note. A firm yet elegant style of port. £85.50

Nyetimber Brut Reserve 2009, West Sussex, England A beautiful sparkling from a well-known English estate. Made to the traditional Champagne method this wine has fabulous notes of lemon curd and brioche. The absolute best of English wine! £45
