Achievements:• Merged and cleaned over 5Gb of weather data for 20,000 stations from 70 tapes into a single set of 100 district files of ~1Gb, about 200M records [in an in-house database format]. • Designed and implemented version control, configuration management, and distribution systems and procedures previously lacking. • Located and corrected several hundred bugs in production ready code • Installed, configured, upgraded, and administered hardware, software, and cabling for a Novell file server, including remote modem access. • Extensively used Object Oriented design and programming methods.
