The WIFI-RF plugs into your WIFI router allowing you to control all of your RF Solutions products from your iPhone or Android. The WIFI-RF is incredibly easy to install. It’s auto configure capability means that installation is simply a case of plugging into your router and waiting a few seconds for the WIFI-RF to detect and configure to your network.

How it works: The WIFI-RF acts as a bridge between your home network and almost all RF Solutions’ remote control systems. This means that while you are connected to your home network via your phone or tablet you can use the WIFIRF APP to remotely control almost anything. You can configure outdoor lighting, a pond pump, a gate or combinations of all of these. All to work from our simple to use smart phone APP.

Installation of the WIFI-RF: Please follow the steps below accurately and IN ORDER : As shown in the diagram below: 1. Screw the antenna onto the WIFI-RF 2. Connect the ETHERNET cable to the WIFI-RF Connect the ETHERNET cable to any free port on your router 3. Connect the power supply to the WIFI-RF WAIT 30 SECONDS - for the WIFI-RF to register on the network 4. Press and hold the CONFIG button on the back of the WIFI-RF for 3 seconds - Data LED with flash 5. After you release the CONFIG button wait while your WIFI-RF auto-configures to operate on your home network. 6. When the auto configure process is complete then the Data LED will stop flashing 7. Set-up is complete - Install the APP on your phone. Downloading the APP 1. From the Google Play or the iStore - search for RF Solutions or RFRemote and you should find our free app - download and install Notes on location and antenna 1. Try to choose a location for your WIFI-RF which is not too close to walls and/or large expanses of metal work as this will reduce the operational range. 2. Try to keep the antenna vertical - or perpendicular to the maximum required range. NOTE: The WIFI-RF has a very long range and therefore you shouldn’t need to worry about to much any installation location. The RFRemote App The RFRemote app provide a platform from which to control your existing or new RF Solutions remote control receivers. Once you have installed the WIFI-RF hardware and have downloaded the App onto your phone. Open the app and create switching buttons to control your products as you require. The below diagram shows the functionality of the RFRemote App. Please note that once the WIFI-RF is plugged in and the app installed no set-up should be required other than pressing the auto configure button.
