Website Overview The United States Postal Service (USPS) candidate portal was designed to provide USPS candidates the ease of managing their own assessments online. The first page, as shown below in Figure 1, of the website provides updates to testing centers, login for existing users, and a registration process for new candidates. · · · ·

The red boxes indicate any relevant program news or testing center updates for which the candidate should be aware. Candidates may register as a new USPS candidate or login as an existing USPS candidate from this screen. There is a “Help” link in the top right corner to provide directions to first time users. New User Login 1. As a new user, you must click on the link listed on the main home page that reads “If you have received an email notification to take an assessment or have been notified by an authorized USPS agent to create an account, click HERE.” Figure 2 shown below highlights this section. 2. Important Note: Candidates who previously had accounts on the legacy OASys platform will be required to register for a new account on the PSI ePostal Assessment System. 3. The next screen will require your eCareer Candidate ID or USPS EIN and your Last Name, to continue. 4. At the top of the “Create an Account” screen, you are provided further instructions on creating your account to help you move through the New Account process. Figure 2

5. To move forward, you must enter your eCareer ID or USPS EIN and Last Name before clicking Submit. Figure 3 shows you where to click the Submit button. ** Please check the Website Error section of this manual if you receive an error when attempting to create an account ** Figure 3

6. As shown at the top of the page in Figure 4, you will enter your account profile information and choose a unique password to access your account in the future. 7. As mentioned at the top of the page, fields marked with the red * are mandatory and must be filled out. 8. There are directions for picking your login password on the right side of this page. See Figure X to view these password requirements. 9. If your password does not meet the password criteria set-up, you will see the error listed below in Figure 5. Figure 4

10. Once you have completed the profile information page and selected your password you will be taken to your assessment details page. A sample of the assessment details page is shown below in Figure 6. 11. Your name will appear in the right corner of the screen. 12. You may edit your profile under “My Profile”. 13. When you are done using this candidate portal, you may logout using the link in the right corner. **Information and instructions regarding Non-Proctored assessments and Proctored assessments are explained further in this navigation manual. ** Figure 6

Existing User Login 1. If you have already created your user account on the USPS ePostal Assessment System candidate website, you may login on the main page as an existing user shown below in Figure 7. 2. As a reminder, you must use your eCareer ID or Employee Identification Number (EIN) and your Password to properly login to your account. 3. If you do not recall your password, you may request a temporary password at the bottom of this page. 4. Upon successful login, the next screen to appear is your Assessment Details page. ** To see possible errors when attempting to login as an existing user, please visit the Errors section of this manual** Figure 7

About You 1. After you have logged into your ePostal Assessment System account, and you have been made eligible for an exam, you will be required to complete an “About You” section shown below. This section contains basic candidate demographics. Your responses are voluntary, yet each candidate must complete this step before they can proceed into the examination process. Figure 8 highlights where you can locate the “Complete About You” button in your portal. · You must complete this process prior to taking your Non-Proctored Assessment. · You must complete this process prior to scheduling your Proctored Assessment. 2. Once you click on the button “Complete About You” a demographic page will be presented. A sample of the About You page is shown below in Figure 9. · All of the personal information items on this page are optional. · You must read and agree to the Privacy Statements in order to complete this step. · Once you have clicked the box shown below, you may scroll down to click the “Submit” button.

3. If you select “Reset” from below, all of your chosen answers from the page will be cleared and you will be allowed to re-enter your responses on the page. Figure 9

View/Download Applicant Information Packages (AIP) 1. To view and download your Applicant Information Packages, you should login to your ePostal Assessment System. When you are presented with your assessments, you may click the button that reads “View/Download Applicant Information Package”. Figure 10 shows you where you can locate the button to properly download the AIP documents. Figure 10

2. A second window will open, providing you with your Applicant Information Package in PDF format. You may view and print this document. If an Applicant Information Package is not available for the given test then the system will notify you when you click on the link.

Launching Non-Proctored Assessments 1. Non-Proctored Assessments are available for you to take at your convenience, yet before the date and time stated in the “Must be Completed By” box. 2. To launch your non-proctored assessment, you should first login to your USPS ePostal Assessment Portal account. 3. If you have ALREADY completed your “About You” process mentioned previously in this manual, you will see a new button in its place called “Begin Test”. Figure 11 displays the placement of the Begin Test button within your Non-Proctored Assessment section of the portal. Figure 11

4. You must complete the “About You” form prior to the above screen. 5. Only Non-Proctored exams will have a “Begin Test” button. 6. The next screen after you click “Begin Test” will launch the assessment. You should continue your assessment following the onscreen instructions for test completion. 7. Once you have completed your assessment you will be presented with a completion screen and re-directed back to your ePostal Assessment System login screen for further details regarding the test process. 8. Once you have logged back into your online portal account, you may view all your completed assessments by clicking on the tab from your homepage listed as “Assessment History and Results”.

9. Once you click on the Assessment History, you will have access to relevant historical testing scores, Notice of Results and details associated with your previous testing attempts. Figure 12 shows you where you can find this information once you login to your portal. Figure 12

Scheduling Proctored Assessments 1. After you have logged into your candidate assessment portal, and if authorized, you have the opportunity to schedule proctored assessment(s). Proctored assessments take place on a computer at a supervised testing center. You may not launch a proctored assessment outside of a scheduled testing center. 2. Once you have logged in to your account, click on the “Active Assessments” tab and look under the “Proctored Assessments” section. There you will see a list of all Proctored exams for which you are authorized to schedule testing for at a designated Testing Center. 3. To proceed with this process, you may click on the “Schedule Test” button. Figure 13 below shows where this button will appear on screen. 4. Once you have clicked on “Schedule Test”, you will be taken to a screen with information about how to schedule your exam. Figure 13

5. You must review the Scheduling Procedures on this screen. Figure 14 below shows you the USPS Proctored Assessment Scheduling Procedures. Figure 14

6. You must scroll down to the bottom of this page to select “I AGREE” or “Cancel” to move forward.

7. If you add a check mark to the box at the bottom of the screen that reads “I have a disability under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. I wish to request an accommodation for this assessment” you will be taken to a reasonable accommodation form where you can request various accommodations which will need to be reviewed by USPS personnel before you are approved or denied for those accommodation requests. Many of these accommodations require submission of additional paperwork and may delay your ability to schedule your exam in a timely manner. o You may learn more about the reasonable accommodation process on page 19 of this document. 8. Once you click on “I AGREE”, you will be taken to the scheduling screen.

9. At the top of the scheduling screen, there is a progress bar showing activities that will take place during the scheduling process. Figure 15 shows you were this is displayed on the portal. 10. In the middle of the screen you will see the exam you are attempting to schedule. 11. To move forward, enter your Zip code or City name and click the “Search” button. Figure 15

12. Once you have selected your testing location, you will be presented with a list of available session dates and times. Figure 16 shows you an example of how this list is displayed when you enter your zip code or city.

13. When you click the radio button next to the time and date you wish to test, you will see a pop-up window verifying you wish to select that day and time. (Figure 17) 14. You must click “Schedule” to continue with the date you select. If you click “Back” on this page, you will be taken back to choose another location.

15. The last screen in the scheduling process is your confirmation page. (Figure 18) This screen provides Test Center name, address, scheduled date, time, and directions to the Test Center. 16. You have the ability to Print these Details by clicking the “Print Details” button at the bottom of the page. Figure 18

Reasonable Accommodations 1. Requests for reasonable accommodations are available for USPS candidates. You may select this option when scheduling your proctored exams as shown earlier in this document. 2. If you add a check mark to the box at the bottom of the screen that reads “I have a disability under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. I wish to request an accommodation for this assessment”, you are indicating that you have a qualifying disability and wish for make a request for specific accommodations to be provided during your examination. (Figure 19) Figure 19

3. After you click the “I AGREE” button, you will be taken to the reasonable accommodations request page as shown below in Figure 20. 4. You may select the requested accommodation(s) from the list and scroll down to enter comments at the bottom of the page. 5. A reason for the request must be listed in the comments. Here you may provide details concerning your specific qualifying disability that will be used by USPS Human Resources staff to approve or deny your request. Please note that, upon submitting a request, you will not be able to schedule your exam until the request is reviewed. This process can take between 3 to 5 business days. 6. To move forward with scheduling you must click on “Submit Request” after typing your comments. 7. If you click “Cancel” you will be taken back to your assessments screen. 8. If you click “No Accommodation Needed”, you will be taken to the next step in scheduling your exam.

Website Errors 1. If you receive an error that states, “We have found an existing account for you. Please login below”. You may then login from the main home screen to access your account by using your eCareer Candidate ID or USPS EIN and Password. (Figure 21) Figure 21

2. The below error may occur if your eCareer ID, EIN ID or Password is not correct when attempting to login. If you continue to receive this error and do not remember your login, you may reset your password. (Figure 22) Figure 22

3. You will receive this Error if you close your non-proctored assessment prior to completion. (Figure 23) 4. The solution is to close all of your open web browsers and log into the applicant website to re-launch your exam by clicking on the “Begin Test” button shown next to your exam title. Figure 23
