The candidate himself/herself will find his/her merit number from the merit list. The merit list will not be published in the newspapers.

2.1.1

वववयालय उनको बदल सकता है । इसे aअधHठाता, कला संकाय के काया-लय वारा परामश- QSया के मायम से Qकया जाएगा। The University reserves the right to change the subject combinations allotted to the candidates of BA course, if the allotted subjects adversely affect the Time-table and Examination schedule. This will be done through counseling process by the office of Dean, Faculty of Arts. 2.2

य=द कोई अ)यथ* असEय सूचना/ अनुचत साधन के आधार पर अथवा फज* अंक प. के आधार पर वेश पाता है तो िजस समय भी यह तfय उघा=टत होगा उसका वेश ार भ से ह: नर0त कर =दया जायेगा तथा उसके वU_ भारतीय दgड सं=हता क/ स बिधत धाराओं के अंतग-त काय-वाह: क/ जायेगी। If any candidate gets admission on the basis of false information/improper means or on the basis of false mark sheet his/ her admission will be treated cancelled from the beginning and legal action will be taken against him/her under IPC.

दे श के वRभन पर:,ा ाधकार / बोडm के वारा अ)यथ* को =दये गये अंको के बीच वयमान वषमता को दरू करने के Sम मG ‘‘सामायीकरण’’ प_त का योग Qकया जायेगा। सामायीकरण QSया के अतग-त सांिnयक/य Uप से एक बोड- के छा. क/ पहल: ]ेणी दस ू रे बोडक/ पहल: ]ेणी के बराबर होगी। इस कार Eयेक बोड- के थम ]ेणी के ाZत छा. को 100 तशत अंक ाZत के Uप मG माना जायेगा और इस बोड- के अय छा. के पूण- योWय अंक को बोडके थम ]ेणी के छा. वारा ाZत Qकये गये पूण- योग अंको के सदभ- मG “सामायीकृत” कर =दया जायेगा। उदाहरणतः य=द एक बोड- के थम ]ेणी छा. के पूण- योग अंक 94 तशत है तो इसका सामायीकृत पूण- योग 100 तशत है और य=द उसी बोड- के एक छा. को 88 तशत अंक Rमले है तो उसका सामायीकृत तशत (88x100)/94 = 93.61%। वववयालय 0वयं सेoल बोड- आफ़ सेकेqी एजूकेशन, कौिसल आफ़ इिgडयन 0कूल स=ट- Qफकेट और यू0पी0 बोडके थम ]ेणी छा. के वारा ाZत अंको के तशत को ाZत करे गा। अय सभी बोडm के अंको को सामायीकरण के उrेय से आई0एस0सी0 के समतO ु य माना जायेगा। In order to remove disparity that exists between the marks awarded to the candidates by different examining authorities/boards in the country, a system of "Normalization" will be adopted. Under the normalization procedure statistically the first rank student of one board will be equal to that of the first rank of the other board. As such the first rank student of each board will be considered to have obtained 100% marks and the aggregate marks of all other students from that board will be normalized with reference to the aggregate marks obtained by the first rank student of the board. For example, if the aggregate marks of the first rank student of a board is 94%, his normalized aggregate is 100% and if a student from the same board has obtained 88% marks, then his normalized percentage will be (88x100)/94=93.61%. The University shall procure on its own the percentage of marks obtained by first rank student of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Council of Indian School Certificate and U.P. Board. All other Boards will be treated at par with I.S.C. for the purpose of normalization of marks.

2.3.3

2.4

य=द अ)यथ-य के इgटरमीBडएट मे ाZत अंक बराबर है तो ऐसी ि0थत मG पहल: वर:यता उस अ)यथ* को द: जायेगी िजसने हाई 0कूल या समक, पर:,ा मG उ`च तशत ाZत Qकया हt। If the Intermediate marks are same in such cases first preference will be given to the candidate who secures higher percentage of marks at High School or equivalent examination.

2.4.2

य=द इgटरमीBडएट और हाई 0कूल मG ाZत अंक बराबर है तो ऐसी ि0थत मG आयु मे वरHठ अ)यथ* को वर:यता द: जायेगी। If the marks obtained at the Intermediate and High School or equivalent examination are the same, then the older candidate will be given priority.

2.4.3

चयनत अ)यथ-य (िजह ने फ/स जमा कर द: है तथा वेश सुनिचत कर Rलया है ) के वषय संयोग ती,ा सूची के पूव- उ`चीकृत Qकये जायGगे। The subject choices of the selected applicants (only those who have deposited their fee and secured admission) will be upgraded before considering the waiting list.

2.5

अ)यथ* मेरट पर भारण (य=द कोई है ) के Rलए नयमानस ु ार हक़दार होगा। The candidate shall be entitled to weightages (if any) on the merit.

2.6

आर,ण, उEतर दे श सरकार/ वववयालय के नयम के अतग-त दEत Qकया जायेगा। The reservation shall be given as permissible under the Uttar Pradesh Government/ University Rules.

2.7

वध संकाय मG वेश लेने के इ`छुक अ)यथ* एक ह: समय मG Qकसी अय 0नातक या परा0नातक Bडvी/ BडZलोमा या लखनऊ वववयालय वारा संचाRलत या अय Qकसी वववयालय या अकादRमक या xयवसायक Rश,ा वाले सं0थान के स=ट- Qफकेट कोस- मG वध 0नातक काय-Sम के साथ-साथ नामाQकं त नह: हो सकते है । In case of students seeking admission to the Faculty of Law, he/ she shall not be allowed to simultaneously register for a Law degree program with any other graduate or post graduate degree/diploma or even a certificate course run by the University of Lucknow or any other University or an Institute for academic or professional learning.

वववयालय के पास Qकसी भी वेश को Qकसी भी अव0था मG नर0त करने का अधकार सुरc,त है । University reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage.

=हद: सा=हEय स मेलन, याग, इलाहाबाद अथवा नदवा कालेज, लखनऊ से उEतीण- अ)यथ* य=द अंvेजी भाषा के साथ इgटरमीBडएट 0तर उEतीण- नह:ं है तो वेश हे तु अह- नह:ं होगा। If the candidate has passed out from Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Prayag, Allahabad or Nadwa College, Lucknow and has not passed Intermediate with English language then he/ she will not be eligible for admission.

2.10

वववयालय मG वेश के इ`छुक सभी वदे शी छा. को =हद: अथवा अंvेजी भाषा का kान होना अनवायहै । वववयालय मG पठन-पाठन का मायम =हद: व अंvेजी है । All foreign students seeking admission in the University are compulsorily required to have knowledge of Hindi or English language. Medium of study in University is Hindi and English.

2.11

भारण : उEकृHट 1खलाड़ी, एन0सी0सी ‘बी‘ माण प. धारक तथा वध संकाय मG छा.ा अ)यथ-य को भारण का लाभ उनके वारा क बाइड मेरट मG अिज-त ाZतांक का Sमश: 5%, 2.5%, 5% जोड़कर उनका योWयता Sमांक योWयता सूची मG नधा-रत Qकया जायेगा। Weightage: The final merit of the candidates bearing the Outstanding sports person, N.C.C “B” certificate and girl students of Faculty of Law will be determined in the merit list by adding 5%, 2.5%, and 5% in that order of the total marks obtained by him/her in the combined merit.

2.12

वध संकाय मG वेश के Rलए For admission to the Faculty of Law 2.12.1

एल-एल0बी0 (आनस-) कोस- मG वेश लेने वाले छा. के Rलए Qकसी भी 0नातक के 0तर पर या कोसक/ Qकसी भी मय0थ अव0था पर उसे बांटते हुए Bडvी दान करने के वारा नकास पर कोई भी पाव- वेश नह:ं होगा। For the students taking admission to the LL.B. (Hons.) course there shall be no lateral entry on the plea of graduation in any subject or exit by way of awarding a degree splitting the course at any intermediary stage of the course.

2.12.2

स ब_ यू.जी.सी./ बी.सी.आई. नयम (समय-समय पर सशोधत) बायकार: ह गG । The relevant UGC/ BCI rules (as amended from time to time) shall be binding.

2.13

वेश से स बिधत अयादे श के ावधान के तपादन के स बध मे सभी ववाद लखनऊ वववयालय के कुलपत/ वेश सRमत को सौपG जायGगे और उनका नण-य अितम होगा। All disputes regarding interpretation of provision of Ordinance related to the admission shall be referred to the Vice-Chancellor/ Admission Committee of University of Lucknow and whose decision shall be final.

2.14

वेश से स बिधत सभी कानन ू ी ववाद का नपटारा लखनऊ यायालय मG ह: Qकया जायेगा। All the legal matters pertaining to the admission shall be subject to Lucknow Judicature only.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING ONLINE FORM 1 Login to www.luadmission.nic.in or click the link given in www.lkouniv.ac.in. 2 Read the information brochure carefully for knowing number of seats, eligibility in a course and its fee structure. 3 Click the link given for payment of registration/ application fee. 4 There are 11 course categories under which a candidate can apply. 5 For applying to more than one course category, a candidate has to register afresh (candidate has to apply separately for each course e.g. B.A., B.Sc. (Bio), B.Sc. (Math), B.Com. etc.). 6 Please note Application Fee is Rs. 600/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 300/- for SC and ST candidates. Your form will be rejected if you are applying for OBC/SC/ST reservation and don’t have valid caste certificate issued by an appropriate authority of Govt. of UP. 7 The candidates are required to enter certificate number and date of issuance with great care as these certificates would be verified from the website of Board of Revenue, Government of Uttar Pradesh. IN CASE OF FAILURE OF VERIFICATION – FORM WILL BE REJECTED. 8 After one working day from the date of payment of registration fee, again login on www.luadmission.nic.in for filling admission form. 9 You will open your form by putting in your basic details including the Registration Number generated during registration. 10 Fill the details as asked in application form. 11 You are also required to upload: A. Take care while filling the total marks. These will be verified from the official records of the respective boards. If details given are not verified by checking software your form will be automatically rejected. 13 Give preferences of subject combinations within the course, if you are interested in any self financing course, give its preference too. YOUR CANDIDATURE IS ONLY CONSIDERED FOR AN OPTION OF YOUR GIVEN PREFERENCE ONLY. NOTE: CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO GIVE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PREFERENCES SO THAT THEIR CANDIDATURE IS CONSIDERED FOR ALL AVAILABLE OPTIONS. IF A CANDIDATE DOES NOT GIVE HIS/HER PREFERENCE FOR AN OPTION, HIS/ HER CANDIDATURE FOR THAT UG COURSE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED EVEN IF SEATS ARE AVAILABLE IN THAT PARTICULAR COURSE. 14 Candidates applying for B.A. programme, have to give preference as per instructions to the subjects. ONCE FORM IS LOCKED NO CHANGES ARE POSSIBLE. 16 If a candidate does not lock his form till the last date of submission, his form will not be considered and will be rejected. 17 Complete merit list and list of selected candidates will be displayed after the closing date of submission of forms, as specified on www.lkouniv.ac.in.
