IMPORTANT LATTAKIA AND TARTOUS CARGO MANIFESTS Reference is made to the UN/US/EU restrictive measures to prohibit the shipment of crude oil and petroleum products from Syria and the insurance and reinsurance of such cargoes; the shipment of key equipment and technology for the Syrian oil and gas sectors; to impose an asset freeze on designated parties. United Feeder Services Ltd is accepting, in good faith, containers presented for shipment considering that the main Line operator has duly ascertained that the cargo is compliant with the sanctions requirements. To copy at our best with the UN/US/EU Directives we are also checking, always acting in due diligence, all the cargo manifests against prohibited cargoes as listed in the above Directives and against the lists of designated parties of the Shipper and Receiver. Due to the present situation in Syria, the Owners of our Time Chartered ships and their Underwriters which are placing the Cover for the Extra War Risk are requesting to provide them with cargo manifests of the containers we are discharging and transit to and via Syria. In this respect, upon receipt of the Preloading Confirmation sent by the UFS Tonnage Center, you are kindly requested to provide us by return with the manifest details. Such details need to be sent not later than 24 hours prior loading to enable the Carrier to check and distribute to all parties concerned.
