Important Notes:

When installing the camera in the housing front, make sure camera is pushed all the way forward against the front housing ribs before closing housing. Failure to check this may result in poor camera alignment and housing controls not engaging properly.

-

Reflections may occur in some photos due to the front camera lens chrome ring. To assist in reducing reflection, a black vinyl ring is included with your housing. Remove the protective backing and affix the vinyl ring to the lens chrome ring.

Zoom Control

Most Ikelite digital point and shoot housings feature a fork style zoom control as indicated in the general instruction manual, however, the TG-3 , TG-4 housing features a single zoom lever due to space and design constraints. The lever can only zoom the housing in one direction at a time. To change the camera’s zoom direction, pull the control knob up and rotate the lever over the camera zoom toggle. Push the knob back down and rotate in the opposite direction to zoom the other way. After you have used the housing's zoom lever, it must always be rotated off the camera’s zoom toggle to the “disengaged” position. If the housing zoom lever is pushing the zoom toggle in either direction, you may not be able to take a picture due to the camera receiving a signal from the engaged zoom toggle.

External Accessory Lenses

The front of the lens port accepts the Ikelite 6420 W-20, 6430 W-30, and other 67mm threaded wide angle or macro lenses without the need for an adapter. An external wide angle conversion lens increases angle of coverage so you can get closer to the subject while still fitting everything in the frame. Moderate vignetting will likely occur at widest angle camera lens setting with these lenses. Zoom in to eliminate, or crop the image in post processing. W-30 Lens

Bayonet mount lenses cannot be used with this housing.
