The world’s trading venue executive gathering

24-26 March 2014 The St. Regis Hotel, Doha, Qatar

Event partner

Part of

Organised by

Why Doha? In 2014 the World Exchange Congress is being held in the thriving city of Doha,

Qatar, under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior (Qatar), H.E. Sheikh Abdulla Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani. Moving the party to Doha

allows us to build on the international flavour of this event and means we can further encourage participants from Asia and beyond. With all the growth,

development opportunities and potential offered in this exciting city we have found

these principles to be in perfect alignment with what the annual general meeting of the exchange community embodies.

This growth and development is most visible with our hosts for 2014, the Qatar

Exchange. Having just received full membership status from the World Federation

of Exchanges, the Qatar Exchange has made significant progress in integrating with global financial markets and successfully growing their exchange. World Exchange

Congress is proud to partner with the Qatar Exchange and we sincerely thank them for their help in organising the conference and the CEO Mr. Al-Mansoori for his full support.

Mr. Rashid Bin Al-Mansoori is the current CEO of Qatar Exchange and a board member of Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) and the Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA).

Mr. Al-Mansoori has extensive administrative and technical

experience since he occupied various positions and supervised numerous

successful initiatives and projects. Mr. Al-Mansoori served as IT Director at the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) where he was responsible for establishing the

IT department and managing investment and financial applications. He also served as

IT Director of Qatar Olympics Committee and was the Head of Applied Systems at the Ministry of Interior. Mr. Al-Mansoori has specialized knowledge and expertise in the fields of administration, IT and financial services, not to mention his

vigorous role in the field of sports, where he has headed many committees in the

Qatari Olympic Committee and served as Chairman and CEO of the Qatar Equestrian Federation, Vice Chairman of the Qatar Fencing Federation, and Board a member of Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation.

An event that continues to wow

The World Exchange Congress is the only event that brings together CEOs and CTOs from the entire trading venue community in one place at one time. We continue our commitment in equipping you with the essential tools to make profitable strategic and technological decision in the years to come.
