The Bible Story Exodus 20:12-17

BIBLE STORY FOR TODDLERS God gave His people special rules to show them how to love and worship Him. God’s rules also show how to love and care for other people. God said, “Honor your daddy and mommy.” Honor means to obey and to love. God also said, “Do not hurt others.” God also said, “Keep your marriage promises.” He also said, “Do not take what is not yours. Do not say what is not true. Do not want what other people have.” When we obey God’s rules, we are happy in our families and with other people. These rules are hard for us to obey. Jesus always obeyed God. God sent Jesus because He loves us.

BABIES GOSPEL GEMS **God is holy; He always does what is right. **God wants us to love others. **God showed His love for us by sending Jesus.
