GARDENS TO VISIT 2011 ur thanks to all those members who have agreed to open their gardens to CGS visitors in 2011. This booklet opens with a list of Village Open Days. These are very enjoyable events, and a wonderful opportunity to see many gardens on one outing. Do support them if you can. The second part of this booklet lists members’ own gardens which are open, either on specific dates, or by arrangement. They appear under their respective counties.

Several private gardens in the village will be open for visitors to see the wide range of gardens and gardening skills present in this quiet rural setting. Talley is a small village in Carmarthenshire on the B4302, just 7 miles north of Llandeilo. Visitors should enter postcode SA19 7YP into their satnav for the centre of the village. A single ticket will permit entry into all the open gardens. Tickets (including a map showing the locations of the open gardens

Eardisland, near Leominster, Herefordshire The annual and very popular Eardisland Open Gardens Weekend is an opportunity to visit about a dozen gardens ranging from large formal ones to small cottage gardens in the beautiful award-winning riverside village of Eardisland. Day-long refreshments are provided, together with disabled facilities. In 2011 this will be in aid of the village church.
