The report consists of 6 parts, contains 108 pages, 29 figures, 24 tables and the Appendix. In the first Chapter of the report presents brief characteristics of technologies for production of sulfur and sulfuric acid in Kazakhstan. The second section is devoted to the analysis of production of sulfur and sulfuric acid in Kazakhstan. Presented is the data on the quality of the products and volumes of production from 2000-2013. The report also provides information on the projects on the construction of new plants for the production of investigational chemicals. The third Chapter presents a price analysis of the markets of sulphur and sulphuric acid. It gives the dynamics of prices on the domestic market of Kazakhstan and export-import prices from 2005-2013 and also provides an assessment of the cost of production of sulfuric acid and forecast prices for monohydrate in Kazakhstan until 2020. The fourth section of the report analyzes the foreign trade operations with sulfur and sulfuric acid in Kazakhstan from 2005-2013. The fifth section is devoted to analysis of consumption of sulfur and sulfuric acid in Kazakhstan in 20042013. This section shows the balances of production and consumption, estimates sectoral structure of consumption, describes the current status of consumer industries and the largest enterprises-consumers. The sixth and final section of the report presents forecasts on the development of the sulfur and sulfuric acid market in Kazakhstan until 2020.
