Spectral output with 1khz modulation on left channel with RDS modulation.
Drillplan PCB size 120 x 90mm, drill holes 3.5mm , 0x0 is on left top side. Dimensions in mm, drillcenter on values calculated from 0x0 Tollerance +/- 0.25mm A full size drillplan is provided with your Stereo RDS encoder
MOUNTING/HARDWARE To mount your stereo encoder we advice you to use 5 metal hexagonal M3 spacers (see picture) and build the encoder in a metal or aluminium enclosure/box. The fifth metal spacer is required to connect the heatplate to the enclosure/box. With the supplied drillplan you can drill the holes exact on the spot.. Use an 3.5mm metaldrill for best result.

Connections
Connections explaned 1 Left adjust: adjust the left audiochannel from -10 to + 10dbu untill peak led starts to flash 2 Right adjust: adjust the right audiochannel from -10 to + 10du untill peak led starts to flash. 3 Left input: Unbalanced left audio input. 4 Right input: Unbalanced right audio input. 5 GND: Ground or 0 Volt. J1 / J2 : Short on pins = 50 µs preamphase / pins open = 0 µs preamphase If you are using our audio limiter or you have some other kind of audioprocessing with preamphase, leave pins open. 6 MPX + RDS out: Multiplex output (stereosignal) and RDS signal 7 Peak led: Indicates your audiolevel . A good audiolevel is when the led just starts to flash. 8 RDS data indicator: Led will flash when RDS data is transmitted. 9 RDS TA switch: When this connection is shorted, a traffic announcement can be made manually. 10 GND: Ground or 0 Volt 11 + 9...12V DC input: DC 9…12V input. 12 RDS level adjust 13 RDS data input: Data connection to LPT port of your PC or Laptop. Connect to a MALE D25 PLUG, the connectionnumber is the number on the plug. For example: solderpad with number 6 will be connected with a wire to pin nr. 6 of the Male D25 Plub, and so on…Never connect PC’s ground (outside of the MALE D25 PLUG) to the Stereo RDS encoder ! Only the 4 required. ! USB to Parallel or USB to LPT converter cables will NOT work !
