Danielle, UK.

Raymond, Ghana.

Before she was diagnosed with post-natal depression, Danielle felt like she was a bad mum and couldn’t cope – to the point where she considered leaving her family. But a project which uses Sport Relief cash helped her learn more about her condition and reassured her that she wasn’t alone. Pregnant again, she now helps other young mums with post-natal depression.

Because Raymond’s family doesn’t have enough money to feed the household and buy the essential things they need to live, he’s spent his childhood working in the terrible conditions of the mines – but with the help of money raised through Sport Relief, Raymond is now able to go to school and, in the future, get a better job and earn money to feed himself and his family.
