Step 2:: Setting Up Your Hangout Page When it comes to broadcasting your hangout, there are several ways you can go about doing this.
Option 1: Directly On Your Site
Create a page on your site and embed the code that you copied earlier. In Wordpress:: Create a new page, go to “text editor” and paste the code you entered earlier.
10
Optional: Audience Engagement: If you’d like to have audience interaction during the webinar, you can add a service such as Chat Roll, Twubs or embed Facebook or Google+ comments.
Adding Chat Roll:: ChatRoll is a service that allows you to add a chatfunction on your website. Starting at $19/month, it allows you and webinar attendees to engage and interact with one another.
11
Publish your page and customize the URL. For instance, my hangout webinar is hosted at http://www.sandysidhumedia.com/googleplus
Option 2: Use Lead Pages Alternatively, you can use Lead Pages for your hangout. With Lead Pages you can setup both your webinar optin page and your webinar. Lead Pages provides a template that is optimized for conversions if you are promoting a product or service at the end of your webinar. Creating your webinar page through Lead Pages allows webinar attendees to focus directly on your webinar and not get sidetracked by other offerings on your website. Lead Pages are very “plug and play” with templates where you add the specific YouTube code, chat code and calltoaction.
