Where the unifying force of rock & roll meets the burgeoning craft beer culture, Rock & Brews is born. Founders Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Michael Zislis and Dave & Dell Furano are all bound by their love of rock & roll. Armed with an abundance of branding expertise, ambition and rock fervor, they inspired Rock & Brews, creating an energetic, unforgettable, familyfriendly dining and entertainment experience. Rock & Brews’ signature setting is reminiscent of a 360degree family-friendly concert experience with trusses overhead and concert lighting that casts an array of colors on the picnic tables below. Multiple screens and a stellar sound system broadcast some of the greatest moments in rock history. On the walls are rare oversized collectors’ canvas rock posters, iconic concert and tour art, and a prominent “Great Wall of Rock” mural, 2
a larger-than-life tribute to rock legends. Most of our locations offer a play area for children. Our menu proudly presents a creative spin on fresh, quality American comfort food, including salads, burgers, sandwiches, wings, pizza, along with BBQ specialties and a variety of gluten-free and healthy options. Additionally, each location offers its own regional favorites. And, keeping our little rockers in mind, we offer a children’s menu with a great selection of kid-friendly choices, along with rock-themed coloring templates and other fun activities. At the altar of rock, we present an extensive selection of featured craft beers and wines, with many locations offering full bars. Every restaurant boasts an eclectic mix of traditional American beers, local brews, and the finest craft beers from around the world. Discography Discography It started in the summer of 2010, when highly respected concert tour manager Dave Furano (Rolling Stones; Bob Dylan; the Grateful Dead; The Doors; The Allman Brothers Band; George Harrison; and, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; among others), his brother, concert merchandising industry pioneer Dell Furano, and restaurateur/hotelier extraordinaire Michael Zislis got together for a KISS concert. Simmons and Paul Stanley, Dave said, “What’s better than rock and brews?” A spontaneous brainstorming ensued, engaging the diverse talents and creative energy of the five friends bound together by their love of concert rock, and Rock & Brews was born. The collaboration, combining extensive concert, branding and restaurant experience, with the immense international fan base of KISS, has produced a new brand that is widely engaging and poised for thoughtful worldwide expansion.
Our Founders Michael Zislis A visionary entrepreneur, restaurateur, hotelier, and philanthropist, Michael Zislis has dazzled consumers with a series of well-loved and highly successful establishments. It all began when he brewed his first beer for a school “science experiment” at the age of 13. By the time he was a student at USC, he had become a master brewer. In the late ‘80s, Michael opened Manhattan Beach Brewing Company, one of the first brewpubs on California’s fledgling pub scene. Soon thereafter, he opened several other pubs up and down the coast, revealing a penchant for staying ahead of the curve on the craft beer scene, restaurant operations, and expansionism that he

Dave & Dell Furano Concert industry and merchandising veterans Dave and Dell Furano put the business of “Rock” into Rock & Brews.
Working side by side with legendary concert luminary Bill Graham, Dave served as President of Bill Graham Presents as well as tour manager for the Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, George Harrison, and on Graham’s
ground-breaking “Day on The Green” outdoor festivals. During the course of his concert career, he also co-produced with Graham the critically acclaimed Martin Scorsese film “The Last Waltz.” The Furano Brothers are also widely acknowledged as pioneers of concert merchandising, and founded legendary Winterland Productions with Graham in the late 1970s. Younger brother Dell brings more than 35 years of experience in the music, entertainment, marketing and licensing industries. He previously served as CEO of Live Nation Merchandise and CEO of Sony Signatures, Sony Corp’s entertainment, merchandising, licensing and consumer products division. Dell has had long working relationship with many top bands as well, including The Beatles, U2, Bruce Springsteen, KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, The Who, Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, and Madonna. 4

arena locations Our founding partners have decades of experience running and working with major entertainment venues, thus it was a natural move for Rock & Brews to expand into sports and entertainment venues and arenas. The first Rock & Brews venue concept opened at StubHub Center in Los Angeles, home of the Los Angeles Galaxy, in 2014. Fans went wild over the food and extensive beer selection. Shortly thereafter, Rock & Brews was invited to be a part of the $110 million renovation of the AT&T Center in San Antonio, home of the San Antonio Spurs. making it happen Mike “Sully” Sullivan – CEO/President With over 33 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Mike “Sully” Sullivan joins Rock & Brews as the new CEO and President. After graduating from Arizona State University in 1990, Sully purchased his first business, a Subway restaurant, at the age of 22. Over the course of 14 years, he went on to be an owner/partner/franchisee of four different brands. After selling the restaurants, Sully joined Buffalo Wild Wings and helped them grow from under 150 restaurants to over 1200 restaurants. The last four years he has served as Emerging Brands Director, where he researched thousands of brands and facilitated the purchases of both Pizza Rev and Rusty Taco (which was rebranded to R Taco). He has unmatched experience managing the entire process of Franchising, Operations and Marketing. He also represented the Buffalo Wild Wings brand in dozens of TV and radio interviews. Rock & Brews could not be more thrilled to have Sully lead the future growth of the hottest brand in the world, Rock & Brews.
Bill Goldblum – Senior Vice President of Restaurant Operations Bill Goldblum is responsible for day-to-day operations, training and culinary development for Rock & Brews. It is his passion for the industry and more than 40 years of expertise in restaurant operations that ensure consistently excellent menu selections, quality food and beverage, attentive service and overall rock-inspired experience. Bill’s background includes Operating Partner of Orville & Wilbur’s Steak House and Sausalito South Restaurant in Manhattan Beach, CA, General Partner of Pinky’s Beach Club in Irvine, CA, and in the early 1990’s a lead opening general manager for The Cheesecake Factory restaurants at the beginning of their expansion. In the late 90’s he started Bottomline Restaurant Consulting and has worked with some of Southern California’s notable independent restaurants such as C&O Trattoria in Venice, CA and The Cottage Restaurants based in San Diego, CA and Boston, Mass. Bill served as Executive Vice President of the Zislis Group which includes Rock’N Fish Restaurants, The Strand House, Manhattan Beach Brewco and Shade Hotels.
Anthony Games – Director of Bar Operations As director of bar operations, Anthony Games specializes in the “brews” of Rock & Brews (as well as the wine and spirits) and is responsible for the bar training and bar operations for all Rock & Brews locations. He is a Certified Cicerone for his knowledge and tasting skills as a professional dedicated to beer. A homebrewer for many years, and armed with a passion for the craft beer movement, Anthony joined the brand in 2010 and was a part of the opening team for the flagship location in El Segundo, CA in 2012. He quickly moved up the ranks from server, to bar manager, to director of bar operations, continually honing his talents as a mixologist and increasing his knowledge to become the ultimate “beer” expert. He has been a part of the opening team for nearly every Rock & Brews location. Eager to share his passion for beer, Anthony developed a Rock & Brews “Beer School” to train each Rock & Brews’ team member about beer. The training ensures that each restaurant guest has access to an educated staff that is ready, willing and able to talk about craft and international brews of all kinds. 1414
Larry Drasin – Senior Vice President of Design/Brand Development Larry Drasin of Drasin Design, Inc. in Beverly Hills, CA, is Senior Vice President of Design and Brand Development for Rock & Brews. He is responsible for overseeing the brand’s architecture and design. With more than 25 years of experience in architecture, interior design, construction and project management, Larry has a knack for introducing the Rock & Brews look in new markets, while making sure that each location takes on the “sense of the place,” paying tribute to the local culture and environment. Larry has been teaching courses in interior design and specialty courses in the masters program of interior architecture at UCLA for the past 25 years. He has designed dozens of restaurant concepts and hotels around the world, working for such notable companies as Zislis Group (Shade Hotels and supervised the franchise prototype for several restaurant concepts), and Remedios Siembieda, Inc. (where he designed and project managed interiors for Altira Hotel in Macau and won “Best Casino Interior Design Award” in the first International Gaming Awards; served as Project Manager for Langham Hotel Xintiandi, a luxury hotel, spa and restaurant in Shanghai; and acted as Primary Project Manager for the Hyatt-on-the-Bund in Shanghai and the Hyatt Guangzhou). He has also been responsible for numerous projects in environmental architecture and is an award-winning instructor at UCLA in their Environmental and Interior Design Departments.
Keith Underwood – Restaurant Design and Brand Development As Rock & Brews’ first employee, Keith has been with the company since 2009. Along with Senior Vice President Design/Brand Development Larry Drasin, Keith is responsible for the design, look and feel of all Rock & Brews locations. He graduated from UCLA in 2007 with a degree in Art History and proceeded to teach himself the ins and outs of the various design programs he uses everyday to create the always visually stimulating concert experience locations. It is Keith’s quest for perfection and his attention to detail that makes every Rock & Brews so unique. He works closely with all franchisees to ensure that each store offers a custom rock experience. Keith sets a sense of place in every restaurant. Thru the design, artwork, and architecture, he takes in to consideration the history and culture of each location. His goal for every project is to try to make every store better than the previous store.
Kevin Kruft – Vice President of Finance As Vice President of Finance of Rock & Brews, Kevin is responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting operations. After graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Kevin got his start at Rock & Brews as a bus boy to make ends meet while searching for a job in the financial sector. Between the food, beer and culture of Rock & Brews, Kevin never took the corporate finance job and quickly rose through the ranks from busser to server to bartender to manager. During the remodel of the original Rock & Brews in El Segundo, CA, Kevin joined Zislis Group, Inc. (Founder Michael Zislis’ restaurant & hotel venture) as a temporary staff accountant. From there Kevin moved on to become Corporate Controller and eventually Vice President of Finance, a position he now holds with Rock & Brews. Kevin has been able to pair his restaurant operation background with his financial knowledge to help lead Rock & Brews into its vast expansion. His rise from bus boy to Vice President is a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit that is Rock & Brews. 15
