RPMTECH Co., Ltd., was founded in 2002 for the express purpose to design and manufacturer it’s patented MHPTM line of Electro-Hydraulic Actuators and Controls. The designs are available in Watertight (IP68) and Explosion proof (ExdIIB T4) construction. The actuators are classified as “Non-Intrusive”, since no electrical enclosures need to be opened for setting travel limits or other control functions. Self Contained Control Module
Modular Design Package
This compact module includes the hydraulic pump, high efficiency brushless DC motor, hand pump, local pushbuttons for open/close functions and actuator calibration, local-off-remote selector switch, local digital display, and end-of stroke limit switches. The brushless DC motor reduces power consumption relative to conventional electric actuators, and provides enhanced position control. The pushbuttons and selector switches are magnetic type and do not penetrate the electrical enclosure. All compartments are o-ring sealed.
The built-in hydraulic power packs in RPMTECH are completely modular in design permitting ease of maintenance or for upgrading of the modules

End-of-Stroke End of Stroke Reinforcement The actuators have full close reinforcement function which operates the MHP with maximum hydraulic power during few seconds after the position meter displays a full close.

Self Diagnostic Functions
Selectable Parameter Settings
The actuators have a self diagnostic function which displays causes of fault and the status of the valve when the system encounters errors during the operation. The faults list is as follows.
All the installation parameters can be easily changed by using the local magnetic pushbuttons without open the actuators.

Manual Hand Pump The built-in manual hand pump is designed to permit local operation in the event of electric power failure. This hand pump is a simple design requiring minimal effort to operate.
Speed Control The actuators have a close and open speed adjustment control. This is a user selectable l t bl function f ti that th t can be b sett att time ti off start t t up. This Thi function f ti is important for sludge extrusion valves in water treatment plants and fast operating valves.

Low Power Consumption The actuators uses 0.2kW or 0.6kW high efficiency brushless DC motor(BLDC motor) with single phase 110 ∼ 220VAC 50/60Hz (110VAC with 0.3kW output), three phase 380 ∼ 460VAC 50/60Hz. This makes it possible for the valve system to operate with low power consumption. The low power consumption reduces the cost of wiring work of actuator installation and makes it possible to use a green energy as photo voltaic electricityy (Solar Power) in an area of no power supply y.

Variable Speed Selection The actuators have a variable speed motion (Speed Control Mode) for open or close operation. This mode can reduces the water hammer shock which happens by quick closing or quick open of the valve systems. 100

Separate Installation For the underground or hanging on the ceiling pipe and valve systems, the actuators can be installed separately from the valve by connecting hydraulic line to the hydraulic cylinder without gearbox or extended stem shaft. This can reduce the valve room size and installation cost.
