Anahtar Kelimeler: Abstract Total Quality Management (TQM) has been a common process, applied to improve competitive power of organizations in all processes formed from past to present. Basically TQM is, gathering labor force organizations benefitted from, human, service or product qualities, and systematically all factors taking place in the organization and maintaining the quality by making them work for a common goal on the purpose of meeting the customer needs. In the processes that are applied TQM, all employees are included in quality by asking their opinion. The long term goal of TQM is to provide the expected benefits and while fulfilling this goal, it is aimed to meet the expectation of organization employees and all individuals in society and by this scope it focuses on quality. Due to all these factors, TQM can be explained also as a management model and a it has been supported by several studies that there is a relationship between performance and TQM and this relationship has been a popular much-discussed issue. Main aim of the present study that has been conducted based on an extensive literature s effects on institution performance and to study on their relationship and compare them. To reach the aim of the study, in consequence of an extensive literature review, six dimensions (Customer Orientation, Leadership, Continuous Improvement, Process Management, Teamwork and Focusing on Quality) for the TQM and also six variables for institution performance (Physical Environment, Effectiveness, Quality, Productivity, Innovation and Satisfaction) were designated. Using these variables, a survey was prepared and distributed in the research area. Based on the results obtained from the data, the relationship it is aimed to investigate wheth regard to sex, grade, seniority, educational background, and participating in the total quality management training.
