RWY-1 was reconstructed in 2011, currently approved for any aircraft type services. • 3500 × 60 m. • II CAT ICAO.

Category 1 security object. • 350 video observation cameras including 190 perimeter cameras and 160 terminal cameras. • Intelligent video control system with license plate and face recognition • GYURZA perimeter security alarm system. • 4-stage baggage security control • MVT-HR automatic explosives detection systems.

Terminal A, in service since 2012, accommodates domestic and international flights under the one roof and operates 24 hours. • Current capacity is 1360 passengers per hour or 3.5 million passengers per year. • 5 million passengers per year after the 3rd extension stage. • 4 jetways. • 28 check-in counters. • 4 baggage conveyer belts. • 47.5 thousand square meters of overall terminal building area. • 5.6 thousand square meters of commercial area. • Transfer area. • 2 business lounges. • VIP lounge. • Duty free shop. • Airport railway shuttle.

90 % of equipment manufactured in 2008-2012. Own proper repair station for the equipment. Current fire safety level category 8, to improve to 9 category in May 2014.

2013 Russia TOP 5 Airport

In 2013 Vladivostok International Airport has been named the Russia TOP 5 Airport, achieved 4 stars at AviaPort Agency ranking for the quality of infrastructure and passengers service level.

Successful completion of APEC 2012 Summit delegates aircraft maintenance programme

The team of Vladivostok International Airport has successfully executed the programme of arrival, ground handling, and departure procedure of APEC 2012 Summit passengers, governmental, and cargo flights. Teamwork of Vladivostok International Airport has been highly appraised by National and Aviation Authorities of Russia.

The leader in Russian Far East international air traffic.

In 2013 Vladivostok International Airport achieved the 1st place in international air traffic between airports of Russian Far East. From 2009 to 2013 annual PAX flow of Vladivostok International Airport was increased twofold. Average growth rate came up to 10-15% annually, what is comparable to growth rate of the biggest airports of Russia.

Company of the Year

In 2012 for the high performance and successful execution of the work Vladivostok International Airport has been awarded as winner “Best Company of Service and Products quality” national prize at Interregional Entrepreneur Association Award with the participation of State Duma and Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Vladivostok International Airport is the member of Airport Council International (ACI), the only worldwide professional association of airport operators, and took part in ASQ (Airport Service Quality), world’s leading airport passenger satisfaction benchmark programme.

Open Skies

In 2011 the Ministry of the Transport of the Russian Federation adopted the decision to eliminate restrictions for the flights of foreign air-carriers to Vladivostok International Airport, including fifth freedom of the air flights between Vladivostok and third countries. Therefore Vladivostok International Airport became the first airport in Russia with Open Skies policy.

The nominee of transport facilities review competition 2014

For the upward trend in Aviation Security standards enforcement at the transportation security Vladivostok International Airport was awarded a certificate “The Nominee of Transport Facilities Review Competition” by the of “Terrorism and transportation security” XIII International research and application conference Committee.

2010 Russia’s Most Improved Airport

In 2010 Vladivostok International Airport has been voted the Russia’s Most Improved Airport at the Association of Civil Aviation Airport Award, which is decided between airports with annual PAX flow from 500 000 to 1 000 000 passengers.
