Special Education, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Response to Intervention (RtI) will be consistently implemented and will be monitored through various types of data. What school practices/programs will be improved through this strategy? OBJECTIVES-- Through routine use of the following: 1. Targeted Case Managers will interview special education students every 5 weeks to determine the effectiveness of relationships. (Spec. Ed.) 2. Targeted Case Managers will review academic and behavioral data with students to understand “why?”. (Spec. Ed.) 3. Administrators will review planning room data regularly and will require teachers to interview students when necessary and with discretion. (PBIS) 4. Teachers will use Student Information Sheets to frequently review and update student strengths and weaknesses as well as strategies and interventions. (RtI) 5. Teachers and RtI team will review Student Information Sheets from prior year to analyze successful use of evidence based strategies for interventions. (RtI) 6. Administrators will place numeric data values on behavior. 7. Reading teachers will share reading levels/data for students with core content teachers.
