INTERVAL There will be an interval approximately halfway through the Main Auction when the Raffle winners will be announced. We will also draw the winner of the lucky ticket number who will receive a Tideford hamper of delicious organic, gluten free soups. There will be a finger buffet provided and a pay bar and this will be your last chance to increase bids on the Silent Auction Lots 31- 41

Notes for Guidance: Payment for those attending is due in full on the night, either by cash or cheque only. There are no fees payable to buyer or seller. The price you bid is the price you pay. Some of our donors have asked for a minimum amount for their promise. This will be announced by the auctioneer. Dittisham Village Hall Management Committee have done their best to describe the promises on offer. They are not accountable for minor inaccuracies. All income generated will be for the benefit of the Dittisham Village Hall repairs and maintenance.

Get away from it all and head on down to Little Coombe Farm near Dittisham and spend 2 quiet days relaxing. This would also be useful for friends or family who are coming to visit you in the South Hams. What a perfect present! One week in Gurrow Point holiday cottage

Offered by Sallie Johnston and Peter Mackley this is a spacious cottage for 6 in the beautiful grounds of Gurrow Point House. The cottage sits close to the private shoreline of the River Dart ideal for boating and kayaking. Sallie is offering use of Hobie Kayaks and the excellent all weather tennis court too. Subject to availability

The lucky winner of this bid will have one hour private coaching with the lovely Adam Bayley who is a Tennis Pro at the Cayman Island Tennis Club. Sallie has offered the court at Gurrow Point in Dittisham. mid April to mid August 2015.

LOT 5 Dinner and a movie in a private cinema. Tom Leeman has his own cinema and is offering dinner for 4 in his lovely house in Dittisham. This will be followed by a screening of the film classic - Laurence of Arabia. A good fun night out for 4 lucky friends!

A two-hour sail in a Devon Yawl on the River Dart

One week in a charming cottage in Cornwall. Quintole is a cosy cottage tucked away on the east side of the River Fowey by a creek and near the pretty village of Lerryn. It has 3 bedrooms (one double and two twin rooms) and has been recently upgraded by Adam and Jane Milton. There are delightful local walks and nearby is the coastal path running from Lansellos to Polruan. Fowey can be reached by the ferry from Boddinick (5 minute drive away). The Eden project, Lanhydrock House and gardens, and Restormel Castle are all within half an hours drive. Fantastic! Date to be arranged.

Mike Bennett has kindly offered to take 2 guests (no previous experience needed!), for a two hour sail on his Devon Yawl, nibbles provided. Don’t worry, it’s pretty stable and 16ft long! He will pick you up and drop you off from the Dittisham Pontoon. Dates to suit LOT 8 A day of luxury and pampering for 2 In the Dart Marina Spa on the edge of the River in Dartmouth. LOT 12 Two Half Lambs - unofficially organic! - yum Kindly offered by John and Felix Rose of River Farm Dittisham, these lambs are from their flock of Devon Closewool sheep, a local and semi-rare breed. They have been brought into this world and cared for (in all weathers) by Andy Duck and Karen Jasper, with the help of collies Pip and Fleece, and occasionally Tonka and Bobbin too! The lambs do look like teddybears and taste just scrumptious! They have won prizes at he Kingsbridge Show and at Fingals dinner table! Available in July

LOT 13 Prosecco and Antipasti in a Classic ’Motoscafo da Venezia!’ Pedro & Jilly Sutton will collect you in their Venetian Water Taxi in grand style from the Dittisham pontoon and transport you to our very own Venice Lagoon - the magical river Dart.  Either for a couple of hours up the river Dart winding along past Sharpham towards Totnes or down to Dartmouth, past the Castle and out to the azure ocean for a burn in this iconic, sexy, speedy launch, you decide where!  Our crew will serve Prosecco and delectable Antipasti. This is a really sophisticated and fun opportunity for 4 guests for approx. 2 hours.

LOT 18 Goodwood Revival Day at Chichester The Goodwood Revival is a Historic Motor Racing and Aviation event, where you dress up in 1940’s, 50’s and 60’ clothing. We are offering entry for two which includes access to the inner paddock and Members Marquee as guests. Here you will be closest to the most famous and desirable cars. The Members Marquee is also a more relaxed spot to eat, drink and watch the racing on the large screen. It is situated on the edge of the airfield with its Spitfires, Hurricanes and other historic aircraft. Dress code: gentlemen jacket & tie, ladies a dress or suit. Cordon Bleu trained, grows her own veg, and runs a smallholding with poultry, rare breed sheep and rescue donkeys and has time to write an inspiring blog about it all: rainingsideways.com with wonderful recipes too. Sally can take 6 people at 9.30, and together you will prepare and partake at lunch-time, a mouth-watering menu! Rocket is a 28ft Heard gaffer owned by David Dimbleby and was the star of BBC’s Britain and the Sea. Sailing from Dittisham, Rocket’s home, you will sail with John Holden, the other star of the BBC series, on the River Dart. This trip will include a delectable picnic with wine from the Anchorstone Cafe. In the Summer of 2016. Historical Tour of The Britannia Royal Naval College with lunch This is a wonderful opportunity for a private tour for 4 people by Commander Rob Dunn OBE.
