Uwagi dotyczące baterii: • Kiedy baterie będą bliskie wyczerpania, na wyświetlaczu pojawi się ikona , która oznacza, że należy wymienić baterie na nowe, wyłącznie alkaliczne. • Jeżeli urządzenie nie będzie używane przez dłuższy czas, należy wyjąc z niego baterie. • Zużytych baterii nie należy wrzucać do ognia. • Jeden komplet baterii wystarcza na 200 pomiarów (2 razy dziennie) • Po wyjęciu baterii nie zostanie usunięta pamięć pomiarów. • Do urządzenia nie należy wkładać starych i nowych baterii jednocześnie.

Uwagi dotyczące pomiarów: • Po 3 kolejnych pomiarach należy następny (4) pomiar rozpocząć po odczekaniu 10 minut. • Przerwa pomiędzy pomiarami powinna wynosić min 30 sekund. • UWAGI DOTYCZĄCE TEMPERATURY CIAŁA. • Temperatura ciała człowieka zmienia się w ciągu dnia lub w zależności od wieku. Występuję również różnica pomiędzy partiami ciała. Dlatego też, pomiary między poszczególnymi partiami ciała nie powinny być porównywalne. Należy więc określić zakres normalnych temperatur. Zalecamy kilkukrotne zmierzenie temperatury w odstępach 5 minutowych. • Zakres pomiaru urządzenia wynosi od 32 do 42,9 º C. Jeżeli pomiar temperatury nie mieści się w tej granicy na wyświetlaczu pojawią się następujące ostrzeżenia: HI- oznacza, że temperatura jest powyżej 42,9 º C. LO- oznacza, że temperatura jest poniżej 32,0 º C. 4

Dzięki nowoczesnej technologii, po prawidłowym zakończeniu pomiaru urządzenie poda wynik, oraz w zależności od wartości pomiaru, wyświetlacz podświetli się na kolorowo. • Wyświetlacz podświetli się na zielono gdy wynik pomiaru będzie w granicy 35,6 – 37,2 º C i oznacza temperaturę ciała w normie • Wyświetlacz podświetli się na pomarańczowo, gdy wynik pomiaru będzie w granicy 37,3- 37,5º C i oznacza ze temperatura jest podwyższona. • Wyświetlacz podświetli się na czerwono, gdy wynik będzie powyżej 37,6º C i oznacza gorączkę. UWAGA : wyświetlacz nie podświetli się na kolorowo w przypadku wyniku poniżej 35,5º C. W przypadku wątpliwości prawdziwości pomiaru należy powtórzyć pomiar po 5 minutach. 6

X. Zmiany ustawień wyświetlania pomiarów

Po zakończeniu pomiaru urządzenie podaje wynik za pomocą º C (Celsjusza) lub º F (Fahernheit’a), aby zmienić sposób podawania temperatury z º C na º F TEST

XI. Ustawianie daty i godziny. Data i godzina jest wyświetlana przy włączeniu termometru oraz podawana przy przeglądaniu pomiarów. Aby ustawić datę i godzinę: 1. Naciśnij i przytrzymaj przez ok. 2 sekundy przycisk MEMO. Godzina zacznie „migać”, na wyświetlaczu i pojawi się napis SET (USTAW). 2. Przyciskaj przycisk MEMO, aby wybrać żądaną godzinę. 3. Aby potwierdzić naciśnij przycisk OK/GŁOS. Zacznie „migać” minuta. Przyciskiem MEMO wybierz żądaną minutę. Aby potwierdzić naciśnij przycisk OK/GŁOS. 4. Następnie zacznie migać rok, przyciskiem MEMO wybierz żądany rok, a następnie naciśnij przycisk OK/GŁOS. 5. W ten sposób możesz ustawić miesiąc oraz dzień. 6. Urządzenie jest gotowe do pomiaru.

XII. Konserwacja i kalibracja urządzenia. • Urządzenie należy użytkować tylko i wyłącznie do pomiaru temperatury ciała. • Należy stosować wszystkie zalecenia zawarte w instrukcji. Kalibracja Urządzenie jest skalibrowane fabrycznie. Jeżeli jest użytkowane i przechowywanie zgodnie z zaleceniami w instrukcji obsługi nie wymagana jest okresowa kalibracja. W przypadku wszelkich wątpliwości co do prawidłowego działania urządzenia należy skontaktować się z działem serwisowym. Próba rozkręcenia urządzenia spowoduje utratę gwarancji.

XIII. Pomiar temperatury: Istnieje możliwość pomiaru temperatury na czole jaki i w uchu. Przed każdym pomiarem należy upewnić się, że sensor jest czysty. UWAGA: Nie należy dotykać sensora palcami, może to spowodować uszkodzenie urządzenia.

2. Aby wykluczyć błędy w pomiarach, upewnij się, że przewód słuchowy jest czysty. 3. Następnie, w przypadku dzieci poniżej 1 roku życia złap delikatnie palcami za małżowinę uszną dziecka i lekko odciągnij ją do góry (patrz rys).

4. W przypadku dzieci powyżej 1 roku życia i osób dorosłych, należy złapać delikatnie palcami małżowinę uszną i delikatnie pociągnąć w kierunku tyłu głowy.

5. Następnie należy delikatnie wsunąć sondę termometru do przewodu słuchowego. 6. Naciśnij przycisk . Będzie słyszalny dźwięk potwierdzający rozpoczęcie pomiaru. 7. Po 2 sekundach usłyszysz dźwięk potwierdzający zakończenie pomiaru. Na wyświetlaczu pojawi się wynik pomiaru oraz w zależności od rezultatu wyświetlacz podświetli się na kolorowo. Urządzenie posiada wbudowaną funkcję (głosową) odczytywania wyników pomiaru w języku polskim, możesz włączyć lub wyłączyć te funkcję. Aby wyłączyć funkcję odczytywania wyników pomiarów w języku polskim: 1. Naciśnij dowolny przycisk na urządzeniu aby włączyć urządzenie. 2. Naciśnij i przytrzymaj przez około 2 sekundy przycisk OK/GŁOS, będzie słyszalny sygnał dźwiękowy. 3. Gdy funkcja jest wyłączona, przed rozpoczęciem pomiaru i po jego zakończeniu będzie słyszalny tylko sygnał dźwiękowy. Aby włączyć funkcję odczytywania wyników pomiarów w języku polskim: 1. Np. twój wynik pomiaru to 36,6 ° C- będzie słyszalny: Twoja temperatura wynosi 36,6 °C. UWAGA : Funkcja (głosowa) w ustawieniach fabrycznych jest włączona, aby wyłączyć lub włączyć funkcję odczytywania pomiarów urządzenie musi być w trybie czuwania (na wyświetlaczu wyświetlana jest data i godzina). ENGLISH The infrared ear and forehead thermometer is easy and friendly to use. You can check your temperature by simply putting the IR sensor at the center of your forehead. Thanks to the COLOR CHECK TECHNOLOGY, the screen lights in RED, ORANGE or GREEN according to your body temperature, allowing you to understand the results quickly and easily. Nonetheless, please take note of the exact reading on the screen. It is dangerous for patients to perform a self-diagnosis or self-prescription based on the measuring results. You should always cousult your doctor for advice. Please read this manual thoroughly for the proper usage of the products before use. This manual should be kept on hand for easy reference. IMPORTANT! I. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WARNING !

1. Sudden change of ambient temperature may influence the measurement accuracy. For accurate measurement, store the thermometer in the same room where you usually take your temperature. 2. Do not touch or blow the infrared sensor. 3. This thermometer is designed to take your body temperature on the forehead and in the ear. 4. If in doubt, please consult your doctor for advice. 5. Do not drop, step on or subject the ear thermometer to any shock or vibration. 6. Do not use a portable phone near the thermometer when you are taking the temperature as it will cause the thermometer to malfunction. 7. Do not submerge this product in water or any other liquid. 8. Do not discard batteries into the fire.

II. RECOMMENDATIONS 1. This thermometer is calibrated at the time of manufacturing. If the thermometer is used according to the instruction, periodic re-calibration is not required. If there is any doubt about the accuracy of the measurement, please contact the retailer immediately. 2. Use a cotton swab with a little alcohol to gently clean the surface of the sensor. Before the next measurement, wait at least 15 minutes for the unit to dry. 3. Keep your thermometer out of children and in a suitable place at room temperature and avoid high temperatures, direct sunlight, moisture and dust. 4. Do not use thinners, benzene or other harsh cleaners on the thermometer. 5. Do not modify or disassemble your thermometer. 6. Discard the used batteries to the recycling collection point according to local regulation. 7. The thermometer should be conditioned to room temperature for about 30 minutes prior to use. IV. FOREHEAD TEMPERATURE A. RECOMMENDATIONS To use your thermometer, simply put the probe flush (with the large forehead Probe) at the middle of your forehead and press the scan button. However, prior to any measurement, please ensure the following: 1) Ensure your forehead is dry with no sweating, and not cover by your hair or anything that could affect the measurement. 2) Do not use the thermometer in a humid environment. 3) It is recommended – especially for babies – to wait that baby is quiet for a certain period of time (like 30 min) before doing measurement (Do not take a measurement while or immediately after nursing a baby, please wait 10 min to take measurement) Like any temperature (ear, anal, underarm, oral), the forehead temperature may vary between individuals between 35°C and 37.9°C due to different phenomena known as vasodilatation and vasoconstriction. It is highly recommended to try your thermometer to define your 'usual' forehead temperature. For babies or individuals, if your symptoms and global health does not reflect the results of the measurement, you should double check with a digital thermometer and/or contact your doctor immediately. 13

4) Once completed, clean gently with a soft and dry cloth and put back the large forehead probe to protect the Infra red sensor, and put back the product in its box.

WARNING! It is important to read the result displayed to understand your health condition. Forehead temperature may vary between individuals; we recommend that you try your forehead thermometer to define your forehead temperature. The lighting screen will help you to read the results in some dark place. This feature is very convenient when taking the temperature in a child's room during the night for example.

VII. SWITCH ON/OFF THE THERMOMETER Simply press one of the buttons to switch on the thermometer; the Time and Date are then displayed on the screen and the thermometer is ready to use The thermometer will automatically switch off after 3min to save the battery life.

VIII. TALKING FEATURE ENGLISH

If your thermometer has talking feature, you can enable or disable the voice of the thermometer. 1) To disable the 'Talking feature’, press hold ‘OK/GŁOS’ Button for 2

seconds until you hear a 'beep' sound. When you are taking your temperature under the non-talking mode, you will then hear a beep sound to indicate the beginning of measurement and then another beep sound to indicate the end of the measurement. The result will be shown on the LCD screen. 2) To enable the 'Talking feature', press hold ‘OK/GŁOS’ Button for 2 seconds until you hear a 'beep' sound. Press the Scan button once to start the measurement and you will hear a ‘beep’ sound. Once the measurement has been completed you will hear a short melody and the result via the speaker. Result will be shown on the LCD screen as well. REMARKS : You can only disable or activate the talking function under the time display mode. If you cannot find any ‘OK/GŁOS’ button, it means your thermometer does not have the talking feature.

IX. MEMORIES The thermometer keeps in memory the last 30 measurements. For each measurement, time and date are also recorded. 1. Press the ‘MEMO’ key to check memories. 2. “--” is displayed if no record in memory. 3. Press ‘MEMO’ to display the different records in memory.

X. SETTING DATE AND TIME Time and Date are displayed when you activate the thermometer or 30 seconds after no key is pressed. 1. PRESS 'MEMO' key for 2 sec. HOUR is blinking and the word SET is displayed on the screen. 2. PRESS AGAIN 'MEMO' to adjust the correct HOUR figures. 3. PRESS 'OK.' to set now the MINUTES, then the DATE and the DAY ; At each step, the related figure is blinking. 4. PRESS 'MEMO' to adjust the right MINUTES, DATE, and DAY 5. PRESS 'MEMO' to complete the operation once you have selected the correct DAY.

Maintenance 1. Remove any stains on the body of the thermometer with a soft and dry cloth. 2. Do not wash with water or detergent containing abrasive or benzene. Storage 1. Always put back the large forehead probe if the unit is not in used. 2. Do not leave the thermometer exposed to or at high risk of direct sunshine, high temperature, dampness, fire, flame, vibration or impact. 3. Remove the battery from the instrument if it is not required for extended periods of time. Calibration This thermometer is calibrated at the time of manufactured. III. LA TEMPERATURE FRONTALE A. RECOMMANDATIONS Il suffit de poser l’extrémité du thermomètre avec l’embout frontal au milieu de votre front, au contact direct de votre peau ; La température frontale est rapide et facile à mursuer. Assurez vous cependant que les conditions suivantes soient remplies : 22

1) Assurez vous que votre front est sec et sans transpiration, qu’il n’est pas recouvert par une mèche de cheveux, un bandeau, casquette ou autre afin de ne pas altérer la mesure. 2) Il ne faut pas utiliser le thermomètre dans un environnement humide. 3) Il est préférable – en particulier pour les bébés - que le patient soit au calme pendant 30 mn (pour un bébé, attendre 10 minutes après un allaitement) Par rapport à une mesure auriculaire, la mesure frontale est plus facile à prendre et plus consistante. Comme pour l’ensemble des températures (buccales, axillaires, rectales ou auriculaires), la température Frontale peut varier entre les individus entre 35°C et 37.9°C degrés en raison de phénomènes de vasoconstriction ou vasodilatation locale (vasoconstriction = diminution du diamètre des vaisseaux – vasodilatation = augmentation du diamètre des vaisseaux). Il est conseillé d’utiliser le thermomètre frontal pour établir ‘sa température’ en condition normale. Pour les Bébés ou le patient en général, si les symptômes et l’état général ne correspondent pas à la température mesurée avec le thermo frontal, contrôler à l aide d’un thermomètre électronique traditionnel et/ou consulter votre médecin. IV. LA TEMPERATURE AURICULAIRE A. RECOMMANDATIONS 1) Avant toute mesure, assurez vous que le thermomètre est depuis 15 minutes dans un environnement ambiant similaire. 2) Enlever l’EMBOUT LARGE utilisé pour la mesure de la température frontale. 3) Assurez vous que le canal auditif n’est pas encombré, sinon le résultat ne sera pas précis. 4) Ne pas toucher au détecteur Infra rouge. 5) Si l’écran ne s’allume pas après avoir presser l’un des boutons, enlever la pile et la remettre, ou la remplacer. 6) Ne pas utiliser si votre canal auditif souffre d’une inflammation. 7) Insérer délicatement l’extrémité du thermomètre dans l’oreille ; ne pas forcer l’insertion pour ne pas endommager le canal auditif. 8) Ne pas utiliser chez le Bébé de moins de 3 mois. 24

Pour les Bébés ou le patient en général, si les symptômes et l’état général ne correspondent pas à la température mesurée avec le thermométre auriculaire, contrôller à l aide d’un thermomètre électronique traditionnel et/ou consulter votre médecin. B. LA PRISE DE TEMPERATURE TYMPANIQUE La température tympanique diffère des autres températures et doit être prise en respectant les règles mentionnées ci-dessous. En effet, si l’extrémité du thermomètre n’est pas insérée correctement dans le conduit auditif, la mesure indiquée ne sera pas précise. La température frontale varie entre les individus ; Il est donc conseillé d’utiliser le thermomètre frontal pour établir ‘sa température’ en condition normale. L’éclairage couleur de l’écran vous permettra également de lire facilement le résultat dans des endroits sombres ou mal éclairés. Ceci est très pratique pour une prise de température dans la chambre d’un enfant par exemple.

ATTENTION : Il est important de lire le résultat affiché pour interpréter votre température ; si les symptômes et l’état général ne correspondent pas à la température mesurée avec le thermomètre frontal, contrôler à l aide d’un thermomètre électronique traditionnel et/ou consulter votre médecin immédiatement.

Le thermomètre s’éteint automatiquement au bout de 3 minutes environ pour conserver les piles.Pour remettre le thermomètre en route, appuyer sur n’importe lequel des boutons ; l’heure et la date s’affiche alors sur l’écran.

VII. MEMOIRES Le thermomètre garde en mémoire les 30 dernières mesures. A chaque mesure sont associées la date et l’heure de la prise de la température. 1) Appuyer sur la touche MEMO pour accéder aux mémoires 2) "--" s’affiche si aucune valeur est en mémoire. 3) Maintenir la touche ‘MEMO ‘ appuyée pour faire défiler

VIII. FONCTION ‘REPONSE VOCALE’ Ce thermomètre est pourvu d’une réponse vocale. Vous pouvez activer ou désactiver la fonction réponse vocale de votre thermomètre. 1) Pour DESACTIVER la fonction ‘Réponse vocale’, maintenez la touche ‘OK/GŁOS.’ appuyée pendant 2 secondes jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez le ‘bip’ sonore. Lorsque vous effectuerez une mesure, vous entendrez seulement un BIP sonore pour indiquer le début et un autre bip pour indiquer la fin de la prise de température. 2) Pour ACTIVER la fonction ‘Réponse vocale’, maintenez la touche ‘OK/GŁOS.’ appuyée pendant 2 secondes jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez le ‘Bip’ sonore. Lorsque vous effectuerez une mesure, vous entendrez un BIP sonore pour indiquer le début de la mesure et une musique pour indiquer la fin de la prise de température, avant l’annonce vocale de votre température.

IX. REGLAGE DE L’HEURE et DE LA DATE

L’heure et la date sont affichées lorsque l’appareil est mis en route ou lorsque vous ne touchez aucun bouton pendant plus de 30 secondes. 1) Appuyer sur la touche ‘MEMO’ pendant 2 secondes environ. L’heure clignote sur l’écran et le mot SET s’affiche sur l’écran. 2) Appuyer à nouveau sur ‘MEMO’ pour faire défiler les chiffres jusqu'à l’heure souhaitée. 3) Appuyer sur la touche ‘OK.’ pour passer au réglage des minutes, de la date et du jour ; à chaque fois, le chiffre concerné clignote. 4) Appuyer sur ‘MEMO’ pour faire défiler les minutes ou la date. 5) Terminer l’opération en appuyant sur ‘MEMO’ une fois le jour désiré affiché.

X. NETTOYAGE ET STOCKAGE DU THERMOMETRE Stocker votre thermomètre dans un lieu sec l’abris de la poussière et de la lumière directe du soleil. La température ambiante de stockage doit rester aussi constante que possible dans la plage de -10 ºC~ 55 ºC. Un tissu en coton fin (légèrement imbibé d’alcool) peut être utilisé par exemple pour nettoyer le thermomètre s’il est sale ou si la sonde IR est encombrée. Enlever la pile si vous ne vous en servez pas pendant une longue période. 28

WARUNKI GWARANCJI 1. MESCOMP TECHNOLOGIES z siedzibą w Warszawie udziela nabywcy gwarancji na zakupiony sprzęt, wymieniony w niniejszej gwarancji. Gwarancja obowiązuje na terenie Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. 2. Okres gwarancji wynosi 24 miesiące od daty sprzedaży detalicznej, nie dłużej jednak niż 30 miesięcy od daty produkcji (wydania z magazynu MESCOMP. TECHNOLOGIES) 3. Wady sprzętu, ujawnione w okresie gwarancji będą usuwane bezpłatnie w terminie 14 dni roboczych od daty dostarczenia wadliwego sprzętu do Działu Serwisu MESCOMP TECHNOLOGIES lub innej upoważnionej przez MESCOMP TECHNOLOGIES placówki serwisowej zwanej dalej Zakładem Serwisowym (wg aktualnej listy). 31

Gwarancją nie są objęte: a) mechaniczne uszkodzenia sprzętu i wywołane nim wady, b) uszkodzenia i wady wynikłe na skutek: - niewłaściwej lub niezgodnej z instrukcją instalacji i obsługi, - samowolnych (dokonywanych przez użytkownika lub inne nieupoważnione osoby) - napraw, przeróbek lub zmian konstrukcyjnych c) uszkodzenia wywołane: - działaniem siły wyższej (kradzież, zalanie itp.) d) materiały eksploatacyjne, takie jak baterie i spowodowane przez nie uszkodzenia.

5. Gwarancją nie jest objęty sprzęt, na którym stwierdzono usunięcie lub uszkodzenie plomb lubnumerów fabrycznych. 6. Reklamacje sprzętu są przyjmowane w Zakładzie Serwisowym po okazaniu ważnej karty gwarancyjnej i dowodu zakupu. 7. Koszty dostarczenia sprzętu do zakładu serwisowego ponosi reklamujący. 8. Koszty wynikłe z nieuzasadnionego zgłoszenia naprawy pokrywa użytkownik. 9. Duplikaty niniejszej karty gwarancyjnej nie będą wydawane. 10. Karta gwarancyjna bez dołączonego dowodu zakupu, wpisanej daty sprzedaży oraz czytelnej pieczątki sprzedającego jest nieważna. 11. Niniejsza gwarancja na sprzedany sprzęt nie wyłącza, nie ogranicza, ani nie zawiesza uprawnień kupującego wynikających z niezgodności z umową.
