Presidents Message Spring has Sprung, April showers may be coming and the flowers are blooming which should inspire us all to start painting beautiful flowers. I did paint some at the Las Vegas Convention but they are not quite finished yet, hopefully they will be done by the April meeting for show and tell. Have you signed up for the SDP Convention in San Diego yet? Don’t forget to get your registration in before the April 10th early discounted deadline. Our committee doing the table decorations have been hard at work and we will have a really nice table at the ban-

quet. Thank you all for your ideas and dedication. We had a fun time at the March meeting making bunnies & chicks out of kitchen strainers. Check the newsletter for the project we will be doing at the April meeting. Carol has some very impressive paint-ins coming up so don’t forget to get signed up early. Susan Alvarez has Jill Fitzhenry (Jillybean) scheduled for a 2 day seminar for October 21st & 22nd and a great Mystery Paint-In planned for August 27th so watch the newsletters for additional information on both of these great events. Now get those brushes out and “Spring” into painting all those flowers. Karen Lewis
