Cutting edge! Like superheroes, Mighty Mato Grafted Tomatoes are stronger, faster, more able to fend off foes than regular tomato plants—and their harvests are bigger! Mighty Mato goes above and beyond the call of duty, defending against pests, diseases, temperature extremes, and poor soils while producing long, abundant harvests of tasty fruit! Grafting joins the top part of one plant (the scion) to the root system of a separate plant (the rootstock). As their tissues heal, they fuse into one super plant that combines the rootstock’s vigor and disease resistance with the scion’s exceptional fruit quality. Consider the benefits of Mighty Mato Grafted Tomatoes versus non-grafted tomatoes:

We are improving to better serve your needs! This past summer and fall we were busy! A big project that began in July was reconfiguring our shipping area and process to facilitate traffic flow in a safer and more efficient manner. Now complete, this project will contribute to a faster turn around between order placement and shipment of product, as well as keeping our employees safer during shipping. We purchased and installed ten new 93% efficient heaters throughout our greenhouses to handle the heavy heating load in the cold winter months. In February 2011, we applied for a USDA energy grant, which was a success! This grant money helped us install another 34,000 square feet of energy curtains. Energy curtains help us save 32% in our heating costs by preventing heat from escaping through the roof of the greenhouse during the night. All of the improvements were made with the goal of being more efficient and keeping our costs down.
