Starting from noon and ending at noon the following morning you and your guests will have exclusive use of all the public areas within the hotel and accommodation. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Deposit We shall require a non-refundable deposit of £1000.00 (£2000.00 for exclusive use) with the confirmed booking. In the event of postponement 40% of the deposit will be transferred to the new date. In the event of a cancellation more than eight months in advance of the date of the function, the deposit will be fully refunded. However, for cancellation within eight months of the date of the wedding the deposit will be wholly retained by the hotel. We therefore recommend that you take out Insurance cover. Once the details are all confirmed, and an accurate assessment of likely expenditure has been made, a pro-forma bill will be produced, to which the original deposit has been credited. This invoice must be paid in full two weeks prior to the date of the wedding to ensure that the funds are in our account prior to the function. Final numbers and food pre orders are required 2 weeks prior to the date of the wedding Interim Account An interim payment of £2,000 is required 4 months prior to the wedding. This payment is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Final Account This will be sent by post within 5 days of the function, and will show any underpayment, which should be paid within 14 days. Alternatively any overpayment will be repaid to you, by cheque, with the final account. Extras All food items requested on the day and not pre-ordered will be charged at Restaurant prices. For example:- (i) vegetarian meals requested that have not previously been notified, (ii) extra requests for Child Meals not previously arranged. It is advised that hosts should, where possible, inform guests of their choice of menu, to give guests time to inform their host of any dietary needs or preferences. Sub Contractors Sub contractors engaged by the client to carry out work on the premises (i.e. florists, bands/disco’s, fireworks etc) must be in possession of a valid insurance for public liability for at least £2 million. Payment Methods Payment of Deposits and accounts can be made preferably via BACS Transfer or alternatively via debit or credit card, cash or cheque. BACS details are available upon request
