Questions 31 - 35 Read the letter below and answer the questions that follow. Baca surat di bawah dan jawab soalan-soalan yang berikut. Ducks, geese and swans belong to the wildfowl or large group of birds. They are usually found near water and webbed feet, short legs, long necks and short tails. There are several groups of ducks. There are the dabbling ducks, the diving ducks, the perching ducks, eiders, sawbills, stiff-tails and shelduck. These ducks have different physical features and also different habitats. Some are herbivores, some carnivores and a small figure are omnivores. Geese on the other hand, are more like swans. Geese often live in pairs and groups. True geese are only found in the northern hemisphere. They graze on grass and other vegetation. At night, they roost on open water. There are two types of geese, namely the grey geese and the black geese. Swans have long necks with more vertebrate than any other animal. This gives them flexibility and allows them to reach plants up to about a metre below the surface of water. Swans feed on grass and water plants. Swans usually live in pairs and they tend to remain loyal to each other for life. They are said to be able to live up to twenty years or more.

My parents can have their own room while my sister and I can share in the other bedroom. On top of that, the durations of 5 days 4 nights gives us enough time to enjoy our holidays. Last  week  during  the  school  holidays,  Thrisya  visited  her  uncle’s  orchard  at 

Kampung Sri Kandong. Her cousin Nur Daemeeya and her parents were very happy to  have Thrisya staying with them.     

In  the  evening,  Encik  Farish  brought  Thrisya  to  the  orchard.  His  uncle  used  a 

bamboo  stick  to  pluck  the  fruits.  She  had  a  lot  of  fun  and  enjoyed  herself  helping her  uncle  collect  the  various  types  of  fruit  found  in  the  orchard.  Thrisya  and  her  cousin  enjoyed themselves by eating some fruits as they were working.     

Late in the evening, when it was time for Thrisya and her uncle’s family to leave 

the  orchard,  her  aunt  kindly  packed  some  fruits  for  her  to  take  home.  When  Thrisya  arrived home, she had a good time eating the fruit. They loved and enjoyed the fruits  because they were very sweet. It was a great experience for Thrisya and she planned to  visit her relatives again during the next school holidays.

  Suggested Answer.  Question 2B.                    I would choose Penang because I love to see the place. Furthermore, we can  visit Penang Hill and historical places of interest. Moreover, I love to travel by train because we can enjoy the view. Next, the package per person of RM250.00 is reasonable and affordable. Besides, the accommodation is for a 2 bedroom apartment. My parents can have their own room while my sister and I can share in the other bedroom. On top of that, the durations of 5 days 4 nights gives us enough time to enjoy our holidays. Last but not least, I think I have made the right choice for our holiday. 3

Section C  Question 3.     

Last  week  during  the  school  holidays,  Thrisya  visited  her  uncle’s  orchard  at 

Kampung Sri Kandong. Her cousin Nur Daemeeya and her parents were very happy to  have Thrisya staying with them.     

In  the  evening,  Encik  Farish  brought  Thrisya  to  the  orchard.  His  uncle  used  a 

bamboo  stick  to  pluck  the  fruits.  She  had  a  lot  of  fun  and  enjoyed  herself  helping her  uncle  collect  the  various  types  of  fruit  found  in  the  orchard.  Thrisya  and  her  cousin  enjoyed themselves by eating some fruits as they were working.     

Late in the evening, when it was time for Thrisya and her uncle’s family to leave 

the  orchard,  her  aunt  kindly  packed  some  fruits  for  her  to  take  home.  When  Thrisya  arrived home, she had a good time eating the fruit. They loved and enjoyed the fruits  because they were very sweet. It was a great experience for Thrisya and she planned to  visit her relatives again during the next school holidays.
