Overview The Quattro has been designed as an entry level flying optics laser but, boasts many features associated with higher specification machines. The 1260 x 1260 working area and state of the art 1kw oscillator. The Quattro is able to process mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium with cutting speeds up to 10m/min.

Amada Laser Cutting Machine Quattro 1Kw Customer Training

A 4 day machine operation and safety training course is provided Free Of Charge for a maximum of 2 people per company at the Amada UK Technical Centre, Kidderminster. If this training is not accepted, Amada will require a letter for acceptance of responsibility for training signed by the customer. Travelling and accommodation expenses for participants on the Amada Course are NOT included. The Training Course must be taken either before or within the 3 month period from date of machine delivery otherwise the allocation is forfeited. Further training courses are available upon request and at additional cost. During the commissioning period, our commissioning engineer will undertake maintenance training at your works. Commissioning will take place immediately after installation of the CNC machine and will be deemed complete after a component has been produced on the machine to the customer’s accepted standard and component drawing.

Service:

During the guaranteed period mechanical and electrical services will be carried out at 3, 6 and 11 months. Should the need arise to check or correct any fault, a visit by a service engineer will be arranged within 24 hours (Monday to Friday – excluding bank holidays) but a trouble-shooting service is available by telephone from Amada UK Limited, which usually enables customers to rectify their machine faults immediately

Installation:

The customer will be required to prepare a foundation in accordance with the foundation drawing supplied by Amada UK Limited and to degrease the machine, Also, the customer is responsible for supplying all the necessary air and electric services and water services including demineralizer as outlined on the Amada Installation drawing It is also the customer’s responsibility to supply concrete and labour to infill the foundation when the machine is at its final site.

Guarantee:

The guarantee is 12 months from the end of commissioning and covers labour and parts, with the exception of consumable items. Providing an AMADA UK service engineer or customers on instruction of AMADA UK service engineers fit the parts these parts shall be free of charge.

Excluded Items:

Components considered to be consumable are not covered by warranty. These components include: -Optical elements, such as lenses and mirrors - Filters - Cutting nozzles - Laser gasses - Oils and lubricants - Material Amada UK accept no liability for the damage or poor performance of these components if the cause is found to be as a result of customer negligence/miss use, use of unauthorised parts, the production of materials not included in the machine specification (ie: Non metallics) accidental damage or any other cause beyond the control of Amada UK. In such a situation labour, travelling and parts will be charged.

Health & Safety

The Amada Laser Cutting machine has been designed and manufactured to be safe and without risks when properly used. However, the following requires careful consideration by the user.

Laser Safety Glasses

The Amada Laser machines are categorised as a Class 1 Laser product, providing all guards are in place and not damaged. Never remove guards with the laser active. Replace guards immediately if they become damaged

Cutting of non metallic materials

Amada Laser products and associated extraction systems are Designed predominantly for sheet metal applications. Due to the Differing types of dust, fumes or gases given off when cutting other Materials such as plastic, wood resins etc. it is essential that the Responsibility to verify the machine specification, extraction capabilities and a COSHH assessment for their particular applications. Please be aware that certain materials may give off harmful gases when melted under the Laser Cutting process. Amada can therefore Take No Responsibility for damage to the machine and accessories, or for damage to persons health whilst cutting these materials.
