The meeting was officially called to order by Todd Hill at 7:20 pm. Ken Helvey made a motion seconded by Jeff Huff to approve the Dec. 12th, 2010 Board Minutes, the motion passed unanimously. Charitable Gaming Report –Denise Hinton • Denise provided the Board with our Charitable Gaming update. Denise made a motion to approve the anticipated expenses. Jim Cassibo seconded. GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE REPORT 1. The Grievance Committee met to review a prior decision. The matter is now closed.
Old Business
New Business 1. Equipment Manager, Todd Machlitt, will be purchasing (white) new jerseys for the 2011-12 season. We will use the OMGHA logo leaving the word hockey out. Color combo will be black and gold. Similar to Pittsburgh Penguins. He will bring in samples to Feb. board meeting. Cost $55-$80. 2. Terry Gallagher event is on Jan. 23rd at Rush Creek. Terry has been battling colon cancer for 3 years. He has 3 kids, 2 play with OMGHA. He is a great volunteer and manager mentor. He helped with the scholarship fund, stickers for vehicles. We would like to change the name to the Gallagher Scholarship fund. We would like to donate money to his event. Todd and Denise will work out all the details. Jeff Huff made a motion to approve $1000 to his event. Ken Helvey seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
