Bereits bei der Markteinführung 2009 war es unser Ziel, eine neuartige Arbeitsplatzleuchtenfamilie zu entwerfen, ohne dem bisher Bekannten zu folgen. Schon die erste Generation der Office Air LED definierte den Begriff der Büroarbeitsplatzleuchte von Grund auf neu. Als weltweit erstes Modell brach die Office Air LED mit den bisherigen Stehleuchten-Prinzipien und eröffnete durch die konsequente Trennung von Task Light (Direktlicht) und Ambient Light (Indirektlicht) neue, richtungsweisende Anwendungsmöglichkeiten. Für den Star-Architekten Stefan Behnisch ist die Office Air LED der „Eileen Gray Tisch der Arbeitsplatzstehleuchten“. Er hat uns während der Entwicklungsphase wichtige Hinweise in Bezug auf Gestaltung, Funktionalität und Lichtkomfort gegeben. Schlichte, reduzierte Formensprache, die Verwendung modernster LED.next-Technologie zur Effizienzsteigerung und höchste Fertigungsqualität zeichnen die Leuchten der stetig erweiterten und optimierten Office Air LED-Familie bis heute aus. Äußerlich unverändert wurde 2014 die Office Air LED lichttechnisch komplett überarbeitet: Neue LED-Packages und eine optimierte Steuerungselektronik machen sie zu einer der leistungsfähigsten und effizientesten LEDArbeitsplatzleuchten in ihrem Segment. Bei der neuen Office Air LED Power mit einem Gesamtlichtstrom von bis zu 8.690 Lumen bei nur 88 Watt ist der zuschaltbare Indirektlichtanteil bei geeigneten Raum- und Lichtbedingungen ausreichend, um auf eine zusätzliche Grundbeleuchtung zu verzichten.

When the range was launched back in 2009, it was our aim to design an innovative family of workplace luminaires without following in familiar footsteps. The first generation of the Office Air LED radically redefined what was understood by office workplace luminaire. The Office Air LED was the first model in the world to break with the principles which previously applied to floor-standing luminaires, thereby opening up new trendsetting application possibilities with its strict separation of task light (direct light) and ambient light (indirect light). For star architect Stefan Behnisch, the Office Air LED is the “Eileen Gray table among floor-standing workplace luminaires”. During the development phase he gave us important tips on design, functionality and lighting comfort. Simple, reduced formal idiom, the use of ultra-modern LED.next technology to increase efficiency and top-quality manufacturing are still the hallmarks of the luminaires in the constantly extended and optimised Office Air LED family. Unchanged in its appearance, the lighting technology inside the Office Air LED was given a complete workover in 2014: new LED packages and optimised control electronics make it the best performing and most efficient LED workplace luminaire in its segment. The new Office Air LED Power produces a total luminous flux of up to 8,690 lumens with just 88 watts, whereby the separately switched indirect light is sufficient to make additional basic lighting superfluous when the surroundings and lighting conditions allow.

Diffusorfläche aus Acrylglas zur Entblendung und Lichtlenkung nach unten mittels präzise ausgerichteter Kegelsenkungen, je nach Ausführung dimmbar oder mit Präsenz- und Tageslichtsteuerung (PDLS), Leuchtenkopf und Rohr aus Aluminium, eloxiert oder verchromt, Fußplatte aus lackiertem Stahl (auf Anfrage Fußplatte in weiteren Farben erhältlich), der Nutzlichtstrom der Leuchte beträgt insgesamt ca. 5660 Lumen.
