Designed by Christian Liaigre, le SERENO RESTAURANT is an exciting dining experience. The restaurant serves a casually elegant Mediterranean Brasserie, taking advantage of the bounty of the Caribbean Sea while incorporating an Italian accent due to the closeness with its sister property in Lake Como and the nationality of the chef and owners. At the helm of Restaurant Le Sereno, Chef Alex Simone will deliver simple and beautifully presented dining experiences. Chef’s classic Mediterranean dishes will be elevated with the freshest ingredients and fit perfectly with the restaurant’s beachfront setting, including dishes like signature dish risotto with red sicilian prawns and Vitel
Toné. The menu will highlight an array of vibrant flavors in dishes like the Poisson en Croûte de Sel (fish baked in salt-crust with Lake Como aromatic herbs) and Herb-Crusted Tuna Tartare. The Italian accent will be seen and tasted throughout the menu, most notably in the restaurant’s signature seafood paccheri and made from unprocessed buckwheat flour with a tomato-sage sauce, as sage is the typical aromatic herb of the lake and Chef Simone’s famous Lobster Linguine from Il Baretto, here made with fresh local spiny lobster that arrives daily to Le Sereno’s private beach.

how to get here
Southeast of Puerto Rico and St. Maarten, St. Barth is easily accessible by air or by sea.
Guests may also connect via San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) where a number of direct flights to the island are offered by Tradewind Aviation. The flight takes approximately 45 minutes.
Most elect to connect through St. Maarten’s Princess Juliana Airport (SXM), which services an array of daily direct flights from major international airports including New York JFK, Newark, Miami, Charlotte, Atlanta, Paris and Amsterdam. The flight from St. Maarten takes just 10 minutes and a number of local carriers including Winair and St. Barth Commuter offer continuous shuttle service.
Other gateways to St. Barth include Pointe-a-Pitre airport in Guadeloupe (PTP has direct daily flights to Paris), St. Thomas (with daily flights to several US destinations) and Antigua (with connection to London and several US destinations).
Le Sereno provides all of its guests’ complimentary VIP service in St. Maarten. One of our representatives will greet you before you reach customs and immigration to help you with your luggage and expedite your connection to our St. Barths hotel.
For those who prefer to access St. Barth by sea, high-speed ferries (approximately 45 minutes to and from St. Maarten) are available several times a day. Additionally, if you elect to travel here by yacht or sailboat, St. Barth has numerous full-service marinas with exceptional docking, outfitting, repair and maintenance facilities.
