CLIENT SPECIFICATION
INTRODUCTION
The NYSE Euronext Index Weightings products are comprised of daily reports that provide detailed index composition and weights, including daily index values for NYSE Euronext European indices. The reports are published twice daily: ■ The End of Day reports (EOD) carry close of business data for the various indices. ■ The Next Day reports (NXTD) carry data adjusted for corporate actions/index reviews. 1.1
TYPES OF FILES AVAILABLE
■ Index These carry index divisors, levels, market capitalization and other relevant index data. ■ Stock These carry detailed composition and weights data. 1.2 PRODUCTS AVAILABLE The following products are available to clients: ■ NYSE Euronext Index Weightings ■ Amsterdam Index Weightings ■ Brussels Index Weightings ■ Lisbon Index Weightings ■ Paris Index Weightings ■ Next Group Index Weightings ■ NYSE Euronext Low Risk Index Weightings (new product release) ■ NYSE Euronext Vigeo Index Weightings (new product release) Please refer to the Product Structure section for details 1.3
CHANGES TO NYSE EURONEXT INDEX WEIGHTINGS PRODUCTS PRICING, LICENSING MODEL AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS In an effort to align the NYSE Euronext Index Weightings Products related licensing and pricing policies with industry standards, NYSE Euronext will adjust its policies for delivery of non-real time index weightings data by establishing direct contractual relationships with recipients of NYSE Euronext non-real time index weightings data. As of 1 October 2013, both customers that access NYSE Euronext index weightings data via redistributors and customers that access such data directly via NYSE Euronext are required to enter into a license agreement with Euronext for the receipt and use of index weightings data. As of 1 October 2013, NYSE Euronext is also introducing an enhanced fee structure for customers that are not data redistributors, whereby the license fee will now also cover unlimited distribution of the data within the “Customer’s Group”, i.e. the customer including subsidiaries in which the customer directly or indirectly owns 50% or more of the issued share capital and over which it exercises effective control. There is no requirement for such customers to report the actual number of end users within the Customer’s Group accessing the data. Additionally, in an effort to continuously enhance and modernise its data products offering, NYSE Euronext will launch two new products covering Euronext Low Risk and Euronext Vigeo indices and will introduce a NYSE Euronext Index Weightings / V2.0

number of technical changes to the NYSE Euronext Index Weightings products. This way, and in order to enable customers to adjust their systems smoothly and in a timely fashion, NYSE Euronext will provide the NYSE Euronext index weightings data according to the new and the legacy technical specifications for a period of four (4) months from 1 June 2013 to 30 September 2013. On 01 October 2013, the provision of the data according to the legacy technical specifications will be phased out permanently. 1.3.1 Overview of the Changes ■ New file layouts and a new file naming convention for Index (including Strategy index file) and Stock files will be introduced on 01 June 2013 ■ All legacy layout files will be phased out on 30 September 2013 ■ The number of files included in each product will be reduced as follows:
