Travel Details for the Crowne Plaza Hotel Times Square Please find below your final itinerary for your trip to the ING New York City Marathon. Your airline eTickets are also enclosed (if applicable) along with your race registration document.

Departing from the UK As most clients will check-in online before travelling to the airport, we have not arranged a meet & greet facility at the UK airports, you should just check-in as normal or go to Bag Drop if you have checked in online.

Tickets, Passports & Visas Flight times can change, please check your flight ticket and flight itinerary in case of changes since preparation of these details. Please check the Travel Information pages for Passport & Visa Information.

ESTA It is now a condition that all travellers to the United States travelling under the Visa Waiver Scheme are required to register with US Border Control online at least three days before travel is due to commence. Registration takes 10mins and will ask you the same questions as currently asked on the Visa Waiver form - Passport details, personal details such as date of birth and where you are staying in the USA. TRAVEL DETAILS Transfers to Your Hotel (From group flights) If you arrived on one of the flights above we have arranged group transfers to the hotel. Once everyone is in the arrivals hall we will board the coaches for the transfer into Manhattan (this may take a short while as we have to wait for all clients to come through and your patience is appreciated). The journey time varies according to the time of day and the volume of traffic but it is likely to be between 40 minutes and 1 hour. Normal check-in time for the Crowne Plaza Hotel is 3pm and it is possible that your room may not be ready if you arrive on an earlier flight. If this is the case you may leave luggage at the hotel and make your way to race registration while the hotel prepares the rooms.

Your Hotel A room has been booked for you at the Crowne Plaza Manhattan Times Square on a room only basis. The Crowne Plaza is a large modern 4-star hotel which has a number of café/deli's restaurants and a bar, an indoor swimming pool and large gymnasium. All rooms have been recently redecorated retaining a modern style with bathrooms en suite, hair dryer, air conditioning, coffee maker, safe, colour cable TV with Games consol and wireless internet connectivity. The hotel is located on Broadway between 48th and 49th Streets, right on Times Square, the hub of the theatre district. There are a multitude of restaurants, both themed and traditional to choose from. Central Park and finish line are approx. 1 mile away. Friday 31st October 08.30 Meet in the lobby area for our information run with London Marathon winner Mike Gratton. The run will take you into Central Park. This will be a slow run of about 3.5 miles with stops to see the finish line and the last mile of the marathon route. 10.00-10.30 Our Staff will be available in the hotel to answer any questions you may have. Last arrivals in New York. Meet & Greet in the hotel to collect your room keys. 18.00-19.00 Our Staff will be available in the hotel to answer any questions you may have. 17.30

PARADE OF NATIONS - CENTRAL PARK Watch the Parade, listen to the Official Opening Ceremony and watch the fireworks display.

DASH TO THE FINISH LINE 5KM The Dash to the Finish Line is a new event that replaces the International Friendship Run. The race must be entered in advance on www.ingnycmarathon.org and starts at the United Nations Building on First Avenue at 45th Street and runs 5km back to the Marathon Finish line in Central Park. Allow 30mins to get to the start at the UN.

ITINERARY Saturday 1st November (continued) 08.30-09.00 Our staff will be available in the lobby to answer your questions. 16.30-21.00 Ronzoni's Pasta Party at the Tavern on the Green - Central Park. You will find a ticket for the pasta party in your registration pack - you may purchase additional pasta party tickets for non-running guests at race registration.

SUNDAY 2nd NOVEMBER - RACE DAY 06.30 Meet in the Hotel Foyer for our private buses to the start Our buses will depart from in front of the hotel please hand your voucher to the tour representative as you enter the bus.

Please note: Daylight savings time ends at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 4. Don't forget to set clocks back one hour." For full information on the start holding area, start waves and corrals please consult the event handbook at www.ingnycmarathon.org. After the race you will need to make your own way back to the hotel. From the finish line you will be directed to the reunion area on Central Park West. Walk down the outside of the Park until you get to Columbus Circle (where the runners enter the Park for the finishing straight) then walk down Broadway to the hotel. 09.30 Spectators Meet up with your tour leaders in the hotel lobby to walk up to the 17-mile point (approx 2.5 mile walk). Spectators can walk from the 17 mile point to Central Park South (by the Plaza Hotel) to watch their partners or friends in the last mile, then make their way back to the hotel (we suggest you arrange to meet back at the hotel as reunion can be very crowded).
