Welcome to Italy! The ERA Annual Conference 2012 will be held in Turin, Italy’s first capital and capital city of Piedmont. Turin offers a perfect venue for the yearly gathering of our industry. And we are pleased to welcome the ERA Annual Conference and its participants to our headquarters and hometown of Casale Monferrato. Today gravure technology doesn’t live only on hope, but also on reliable reality: in fact, next to its end-users, our Company continues its research to provide them with new technical solutions to widen more and more the range of gravure application. Evening Reception in Turin The Evening Reception will be held on Monday 24 September at 19:30 at Società Canottieri Esperia. The Società Canottieri was founded in 1886 as the Esperà Rowing & Tennis Club and is part of the historical, architectural and artistic patrimony of the city of Turin. The main hall, once used as a gym for the members, reflects an old English charm mixed with contemporary art. The terrace offers a fantastic view over the river. Accommodation The NH Lingotto is situated in the former Fiat automobile factory, built in the 1920s. The hotel space was totally redesigned by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano and is connected to a 500-metre-long exclusive shopping gallery, while the top floor houses the Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli art gallery. NH Lingotto can be reached from the airport by taxi (ca 50 euro) or by public buses to the Porta Nuova station downtown. From Porta Nuova, the hotel can be reached by metro (to Lingotto station). ERA cannot accept credit cards but if a bank transfer cannot be arranged, payment via PayPal will be accepted on request. In all cases, pre-payment is required. No refunds will be given after 14 September. After this date registration fee is transferable but not refundable.
