NAETI CELEBRATES OVER 30 YEARS OF TRAINING EXCELLENCE! New York State has enacted Mold Bill S3667D-2013. NAETI is approved to provide 4-Day Mold Assessment Consultant, 3-Day Mold Remediation Contractor and 2-Day Mold Worker Training. Upon successful completion of our DOL approved training curriculum, students are eligible to apply for the required NYS licensing which has been in force since January 1st, 2016. Our training includes state of the art hands-on, powerpoint presentation, and interactive training disciplines to fully cover all of the NYS DOL required material necessary to conduct Mold Assessment and Remediation in New York State. We are also approved to run the Assessment and Remediation Courses as a combo course. Preliminary notifications received by the EPA indicate that renewals for persons who took the initial training in 2010 will need to complete renewal certification during the year 2016. All training must be completed PRIOR to their extended expiration date, or they will be required to retake the initial 8 hour training course again. Visit www.epa.gov for specific training extension parameters. The EPA has included two renewal options. Option 1: Complete in classroom training including hands on training, which upon successful completion would be valid for a period of five (5) years. Option 2: Complete on-line training without the hands-on component which will be valid for a period of only three (3) years. Any students who complete this online re-certification course would have to complete a classroom refresher training in (3) three years not five (5) years.

Multi-Pathogen (Universal Precaution) Training. This course is based on OSHA’s Interim Guidelines for Workers and Employers in Non-Healthcare/Non-Laboratory Settings. This course meets and/or exceeds OSHA’s Interim guidelines in the cleaning and decontamination of pathogens on surfaces. The objective of this course is to ensure that workers tasked with cleaning surfaces that may be contaminated are protected from exposure, through lecture, discussion, and an extensive hands-on session students learn about protecting themselves with appropriate PPE*. *Please note these general guidelines are not intended to cover laboratory or medical personnel who have direct contact with individuals with EHF.

The only acceptable proof of NY approved training is the DOH 2832. The student is responsible for all applicable fees in order to obtain licenses. Course tuition includes: Comprehensive course manuals, fit testing with medical certification only (if applicable), Certificates of Completion, Student I.D. card (Photo required), if desired, and continental breakfast.

Re-schedules and cancellations will be accepted up to 10 business days prior to the first day of class. Individuals canceling within 10 business days will be charged a $100.00 non-refundable, non-transferable fee. Tuition is non-refundable to the individual canceling within five (5) business days prior to the first day of class. Re-scheduling will be considered on an individual basis. Students are responsible to make up any course time that they miss. NAETI reserves the right to charge for that make-up time. A fee of $50.00 will be charges for any returned check.
