MINUTES OF CANORA TOWN COUNCIL MEETING August 7, 2012 A regular meeting of Canora Town Council was held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Canora Town Council Chambers. In attendance were Mayor Terry Dennis, Councillors Lorne Kopelchuk, Cory O’Dell, James Trofimenkoff and Syl Hrynkiw. Also in attendance were Town Administrator Michael Mykytyshyn, Community Development Officer Janine Sully and Leisure Services Director Kristen Gabora. Councillor Gina Rakochy was absent. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES That the minutes of the July 3, 2012 regular meeting be approved as presented. Carried Community Development Officer Janine Sully left the meeting at 7:11 p.m.

#12-180 CIIF GRANT APPLICATION Trofimenkoff That council approve application to the Community Infrastructure Improvement Hrynkiw Fund (CIIF) for the replacement of the dasher boards and sound system upgrades at the Civic Centre and that council agrees with the terms and conditions of this program, will manage the construction of the project, fund the municipal share of construction costs, fund ongoing operation and maintenance and follow any mitigation measures as required by The Canadian Environmental Assessment Act.
