MODERATOR Scott Thayer, Senior Counsel, ConAgra Foods, Inc., Naperville, IL Mr. Thayer has been a member of the Board of Directors of ACC Chicago for several years and will offer an in-house perspective as Moderator. Currently responsible for providing legal services to the Snacks and International business units at ConAgra Foods, Mr. Thayer has 25 years of hands-on commercial, supply chain, operational and manufacturing legal experience, including serving as General Counsel-North America for the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company. In addition to providing legal support and strategic business advice to the business units he supports at ConAgra Foods, while at Wrigley, Mr. Thayer served as a member of the North American Leadership Team, while overseeing the growth and development of the North American Legal Team.

SPEAKERS Alyse Lasser – President, Insight Executive Search Partners, Oak Brook, IL Ms. Lasser is President of Insight Executive Search Partners, Inc., a generalist boutique executive search firm, with specialties in legal, financial services,  human  resources,  and  sales  and  marketing.  Insight’s  principals  have  over  20   years experience in retained executive search in a variety of industries, and across a broad range of functional areas. Prior to forming Insight, Ms. Lasser was a Senior Vice President at a leading Chicago boutique retained executive search firm. Ms. Lasser is a 1984 graduate of the Northwestern University School of Law. She spent her first three years in private litigation practice, and the next eleven at Waste Management, Inc., where she was Assistant General Counsel,  heading  up  Waste  Management’s  Commercial  Practice  Group.  Ms. Lasser has served as Co-Chair of the Alliance for Women, the largest and most active subcommittee of the Chicago Bar Association. Ms. Lasser has an active consulting practice, consulting with companies on a broad range of career issues. She is frequent speaker on career management and satisfaction issues.

Jane DiRenzo Pigott - Managing Director, R3 Group LLC, Chicago, Illinois Ms. Pigott specializes in providing leadership, change and diversity/inclusion consulting to organizations. Her services enhance  an  organization’s  competitive  edge  by  allowing  the  organization  to  utilize,  retain  and  promote  more  fully  its   key human resource assets. She approaches leadership, change and inclusion strategically and produces measurable results  towards  her  clients’  goals  and  objectives.    Her  clients  include  professional  service  firms,  corporations  and   universities. Before starting her own business, Ms. Pigott practiced law for over twenty years, most recently at Winston & Strawn where she served on the firm's Executive and Compensation Committees and as the Chair of the Global Environmental Law practice group. Jane received a BA from the University of Virginia and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Law School. Michael Roche-Kelly - President and Founder, MRK Legal Search Consultants, Chicago, Illinois Mr. Roche-Kelly has been a legal recruiter since 1997 and refined his skills at the largest and best well-known legal search firms in the world. Prior to launching MRK Legal Search Consultants, he was the US Managing Partner for a Global Legal Search Firm headquartered in London. Originally from Dublin, Ireland Michael earned his law degree (with Honors) from Trinity College Dublin in 1992 and qualified to practice law in New York State in 1996. Although he consults often on law firm placements, Michael says that his passion is recruiting attorneys for Corporate Law Departments. His in house clients and assignments cover the entire continental United States. Michael also frequently assists his clients on search assignments in Europe and Asia.
