ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE The Environ® Professional range is a treatment orientated range that was scientifically formulated for trained skin care professionals to promote and support healthy skin. These specialized products are used to perform the world renowned, Environ Ionzyme® DF Facial treatments. The Environ professional treatments are intended to introduce and support the correct way of using the home skin care regimes while augmenting their effects. To ensure that the most suitable treatment program is established, skin care professionals are advised to follow the step-up system. For best results, a course of 12 – 24 treatments is recommended over 3 to 6 months.  

Once opened, use within 10 – 12 weeks to ensure optimal ingredient activity unless otherwise specified. Can be used to at any age to treat male and female clients.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE

PRE CLEANSER A gentle pre-cleansing oil that helps soften sebum and assists in removing environmental pollutants from the skin. Pre-cleanser also assists in decongesting problematic skin and leaves the skin feeling refreshed. Benefits:  Assists in hydrating the skin, giving a silky after-feel.  Helps to decongest clogged pores and problematic skin.  Assists in cleansing and hydrating the skin.  Suitable for normal to dry or sensitive skin types and congested skin conditions. Key Ingredients:  Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil) refined medical grade  Tocopherol Acetate (vitamin E)  Botanical Oils and Extracts Application: Apply to skin and massage with fingertips before exfoliating with Clay Masque and continue with skin preparation. Hints and Tips:  May be used to remove eye make-up, but contact lens wearers should use it with caution.  Effectively removes waterproof make-up.  Avoid using on eye-lash extensions.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE CLAY MASQUE The Clay Masque formula assists in absorbing excess oils and micro-exfoliating the skin, leaving the skin feeling smoother and appearing more radiant. Benefits:  Assists with skin preparation by micro-exfoliating the skin.  Helps to remove excess oils and unclog pores.  Assists in nourishing and refining the appearance of the skin.  Suitable for all skin types. Key Ingredients:  Kaolin  Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E)  Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil)  Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) Application: Apply Pre-Cleanser and massage with fingertips. Then, apply Clay Masque on top of the Pre-cleanser and massage for 5 minutes. Remove excess with a facial compress. Remove last traces of the masque with Cleansing Gel and then tone. Continue with your preferred treatment. Hints and Tips: Ensure all residual masque is removed thoroughly before progressing to the next step in the preparation phase.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER This oil free product gently removes eye make-up without drying the skin around the eyes. It has unique soothing properties and contains a delicate fragrance. Benefits:  Assists in soothing the skin.  Effectively removes eye make-up.  Safe for use by contact lens wearers.  Suitable for all skin types Key Ingredients:  Cyclopia Genistoides (Honeybush) Leaf Extract  D-Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) Application: After pre-cleansing and exfoliating, dampen cotton wool swabs with Eye Make-up Remover, and then gently remove eye make-up. Proceed with cleansing and toning. Hints and Tips:  Use on dry cotton wool to ensure the best efficacy.  May not be effective in removing waterproof mascara.  Use in conjunction with Pre-Cleanser to remove waterproof mascara.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE

CLEANSING MILK A gentle cleanser formulated to remove excess oils, make-up and other impurities which help enhance the effectiveness of the professional treatments. Benefits:  Helps to maintain the natural acid mantle of the skin  Leaves the skin feeling gently cleansed and refreshed.  Promotes a radiant appearance.  Suitable for dry and sensitive skin types. Key Ingredients:  Glyceryl Stearate  Hydrogenated Palm Oil  Lauryl Betaine  Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) Application: After pre-cleansing and exfoliating, apply Cleansing Milk to the skin and massage with fingertips, remove with a facial compress and continue with skin preparation. Hints and Tips:  Cleansing Milk is not the preferred cleanser option for the DF Ionzyme® Machine treatment. Cleansing Gel is preferred as it thoroughly removes the last traces of any residual oils and makeup. This allows for an even more effective treatment.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE CLEANSING GEL A foaming gel cleanser specifically formulated to thoroughly remove residual oils from the surface of the skin to help enhance the effectiveness of the professional treatments. Benefits:  Assists in removing excess oils from the surface of the skin.  Effectively removes make-up.  Cleanses thoroughly and promotes a radiant appearance.  Suitable for all skin types. Key Ingredients:  Lauryl Betaine  Glycerin Application: After pre-cleansing and exfoliating, use your hands to work Cleansing Gel into a foam, apply to the skin and massage with your fingertips. Remove with a facial compress. Tone and continue with preferred treatment option. Hints and Tips:  Cleansing Gel is the cleanser of choice in the facial procedures as it effectively removes the last traces of any residual oils. This allows for a more effective treatment.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE ALPHA TONER MILD A low level Alpha Hydroxy Acid based toner, used to help maintain a normal skin pH and to prepare the skin for the active treatment phase. Benefits:  Helps to enhance the effectiveness of the Environ treatment serums by supporting the natural pH and desquamation processes of the skin.  Suitable for all skin types. Key Ingredient:  Glycolic Acid 3% Application: After pre-cleansing, exfoliating and cleansing, apply Alpha Toner Mild to the skin with a cotton swab and allow to dry. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Hints and Tips:  If an uncomfortable tingling sensation is experienced, pre-dampen cotton swab with water to slightly dilute the toner, before application.  This product contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE ALPHA TONER FORTE A high level Alpha Hydroxy Acid based toner, used to help maintain a normal skin pH and to prepare the skin for the active treatment phase. Benefits:  Helps to enhance the effectiveness of the Environ treatment serums by supporting the natural pH and desquamation processes of the skin.  Helps to refine the appearance of the skin surface.  Suitable for all skin types, except fragile and sensitive skin conditions. Key Ingredient:  Glycolic Acid 12% Application: After pre-cleansing, exfoliating and cleansing, apply Alpha Toner Forte to the skin with a cotton swab and allow to dry. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Hints and Tips:  If an uncomfortable tingling sensation is experienced, pre-dampen cotton swab with water to slightly dilute the toner, before application.  This product contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Benefits:  Assists in moisturizing and conditioning the skin.  Gives the skin a healthy and radiant glow.  Assists in improving the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone and sun damaged skin.  Recommended for all skin types, recommended for first time Environ facial treatment clients. Key Ingredients:  Retinyl Palmitate (vitamin A)  Ascorbyl Palmitate (vitamin C)  Tocopheryl Acetate(vitamin E)  Beta-Carotene  Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) Application: Ionzyme® DF Treatment: After skin preparation, apply Treatment Gel in a moderate layer. Can be used with Sonophoresis and/or Iontophoresis on a negative polarity. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Manual Treatment: After skin preparation, apply Treatment Gel in a moderate layer. Add a few drops of Vitamin A, C & E Body Oil and massage until absorbed. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Hints and Tips:  Treatment Gel may be used during any level of the professional step-up system to assist in hydrating and supporting sensitive, dry and unbalanced skin conditions.  This product does not contain a sunscreen. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE COLOSTRUM GEL This treatment serum is formulated to provide skin nutrition which helps enhance the immune function of the skin. Colostrum Gel also assists in improving the appearance of mature skin with fine lines, leaving the skin looking and feeling smooth and healthy. Benefits:  Calms and soothes inflamed, irritated and problematic skin conditions.  Assists in reducing the appearance of premature ageing.  Leaves the skin looking more youthful and radiant.  Recommended for mature, thin, sensitive and problematic skin conditions. Key Ingredients:  Colostrum  Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C)  Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)  Cimifuga Racemosa Root extract  Epigallocatechin Gallate  Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil Application: Ionzyme® DF Treatment: After skin preparation, apply Colostrum gel in an even thin layer. Can only be used with Sonophoresis treatments. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Manual Treatment: Apply before / mixed with Moisturizer at the end of the facial treatment. Hints and Tips: Colostrum Gel may be used during any stage of the Environ professional step-up system.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE A & C SERUM 1, 2 & 3 A & C Serum 1, 2 and 3 are highly active treatment serums with a combination of vitamin A and vitamin C, which help promote a healthy, radiant skin with a smooth texture. Benefits:  Assists in the treatment of uneven skin tone and sun damaged skin conditions.  Assists in hydrating the skin and helps give the skin a radiant glow.  Skin Types:  Recommended for normal and sun damaged skin conditions. Key Ingredients:  A & C Serum  A & C Serum  A & C Serum  A & C Serum

1: Retinyl Acetate (vitamin A) 1: Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (vitamin C) 2 & 3: Retinol (vitamin A) 2 & 3: Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (vitamin C)

Application: Ionzyme® DF Treatment: After skin preparation, apply A & C Serum in an even thin layer. Can be used with Sonophoresis and/or Iontophoresis on a negative polarity. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Manual Treatment: After skin preparation, apply A & C Serum 1, 2 or 3 depending on the skin type and condition, in an even thin layer. Add a few drops of Vitamin A, C & E Body Oil and massage until absorbed. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Hints and Tips:  A & C Serum 1 is a progression from Treatment Gel.  Once the skin is comfortable on A & C Serum 1, progress to A & C Serum 2. Providing that the skin is comfortable on A & C Serum 2, finally progress to A & C Serum 3.  Not suitable for problematic skin conditions.  Each bottle provides an estimated two treatments.

 ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE INTENSE C PEEL An invigorating exfoliant masque designed to soften rough and sun damaged skin while delivering powerful vitamin C to help promote a healthy radiant appearance. Benefits:  Assists in refining skin texture.  Assists in revitalizing the skin and in improving uneven skin tone.  Recommended for sun damaged skin and uneven skin tone. Not suitable for problematic and sensitive skin conditions. Key Ingredients:  Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)  Salicylic acid Application: Ionzyme® DF Treatment: After skin preparation, mix one sachet of the “active” powder into one bottle of the “catalyst” solution, re-seal and mix well. Apply Intense C Peel in an even thin layer with a brush. It can be used with Sonophoresis and/or Iontophoresis on a negative polarity. Proceed with preferred treatment. Manual Treatment: After skin preparation, apply Intense C Peel in an even thin layer. Gently massage until absorbed. Proceed with preferred treatment option. These components are only mixed when required and should be used within 48 hours after mixing. Each mixed bottle provides an estimated two treatments. Hints and Tips:  Intense C Peel is a progression from A & C Serum 1.  Using Alginate Masque as conductor for Iontophoresis is not recommended. Haize Gauze should be used.  Avoid if an allergy to aspirin exists.  Use with caution around the eye area.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE INTENSE RETINOL SERUM A progressive treatment serum specifically used for stubborn skin conditions that require additional intensive treatments. Introduce only once the skin has acclimatized to medium levels of vitamin A. Key Ingredients:  Retinol (vitamin A)  Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C)  Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E)  Colostrum Application: Ionzyme® DF Treatment: After skin preparation, apply Intense Retinol Serum in an even thin layer. Can be used with Sonophoresis and/or Iontophoresis on a negative polarity. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Manual Treatment: After skin preparation, apply Intense Retinol Serum in an even thin layer. Add a few drops of Vitamin A, C & E Body Oil and massage until absorbed. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Benefits:  Assists with improving the appearance of uneven skin tone.  Helps refine an uneven texture leading to a youthful smooth appearance.  Helps to improve the appearance of imperfections.  Recommended for stubborn skin conditions i.e. photo ageing, fine lines, sun damage, uneven skin tone, scarring and problematic skin. Hints and Tips:  Intense Retinol Serum is a progression from Intense C Peel and A & C Serum 3.  For problematic skin conditions, Intense Retinol Serum may be introduced at an early stage with care being taken not to over sensitize the skin.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE ALPHA CREAM This gentle secondary exfoliant cream contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids to help improve the texture of the skin. Alpha Cream also helps to restore hydration, giving the skin a radiant glow. Benefits:  Helps to energise tired looking skin and restore a radiant appearance.  Provides a mild exfoliating action that is beneficial for problematic skin conditions and helps to refine the appearance of the skin texture.  Suitable for normal to sensitive skin, as well as problematic skin conditions. Key Ingredients:  Glycolic Acid  Lactic Acid Application: Use as a secondary exfoliant. After skin preparation, apply in a thin layer and massage under steam if desired for 5 - 10 minutes. Remove the excess with a facial compress. Proceed with preferred treatment option. Hints and Tips:  Also used as part of the Environ Hand and Foot treatment. This product contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE ALPHA GEL This active micro-exfoliating gel contains high levels of Alpha Hydroxy Acids and is used as a secondary exfoliant. Alpha Gel helps to improve the appearance of uneven texture to reveal healthier skin. Key Ingredients:  Glycolic Acid  Lactic Acid Application: Use as a secondary exfoliant. After skin preparation, apply in a thin layer and massage under steam if desired for 5 - 7 minutes. Remove the excess with a facial compress. Proceed with recommended treatment option. Benefits:  Helps to refine the texture of sun damaged skin leaving it smooth with a healthy appearance.  Assists in the natural exfoliating function and is therefore beneficial for problematic skin conditions.  Refines the appearance of rough and uneven skin tone.  Suitable for mature, sun damaged, as well as problematic skin conditions. Hints and Tips:  Only use Alpha Hydroxy Gel once the skin has become comfortable with Alpha Hydroxy Cream.  This product contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE CONDUCTIVE GEL A conductive medium used to ensure effective flow of the Iontophoresis current. Benefits:  Ensures effective flow of the Iontophoresis current.  Suitable for all skin types. Key Ingredients:  Aqua Application: After skin preparation, apply selected treatment serum followed by the appropriate conductive medium (Haize Gauze or Alginate Masque). Apply directly over Haize Gauze and onto the crocodile clips, to ensure effective conduction of the electrical current. When the Alginate Masque is used as the conductive medium, apply Conductive Gel to the crocodile clips only. Hints and Tips: Apply directly to the crocodile clips where they attach to the Haize Gauze/Alginate Masque.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE ALGINATE MASQUE This cooling, peel off masque normalizes the pH of the skin and is best used at the end of a treatment to help create a refreshed and soothed appearance. It may also be used as a conductive medium for Iontophoresis treatments. Benefits:  A cooling sensation provides a soothing effect with a hydrated after feel.  Physically obstructs trans-epidermal water loss, thus helping to promote hydration of the skin.  Helps refresh the skin.  Suitable for all skin types. Key Ingredients:  Algin  Fresh water Algae extract and trace minerals Application: Rapidly mix 20g (2 level scoops) of powder with approximately 60 ml of room temperature purified water in a silicone bowl with a plastic spatula to the required consistency. Apply in a thick layer and smooth out peripherally. Do not obstruct the nostrils and consult with the client before covering the eyes and mouth. Wait 7 - 10 minutes and peel off the set masque. Remove any remnants of the masque with a damp cotton swab. Hints and Tips:  Use of the masque is not recommended on claustrophobic clients.  The use of purified water is advised when mixing the masque.  Ensure linen is well protected. Avoid contact with fabric.  Avoid application of the masque to hairline.  The masque must be disposed of into a bin; drains may potentially block if flushed.  Seal the packet after opening.

ENVIRON PRODUCTS | PROFESSIONAL RANGE

MOISTURISER An all-purpose moisturizer containing a low concentration of vitamin A, vitamin C and antioxidants. This unique cream assists in rebalancing and moisturising the skin. Benefits:  Assists in nourishing and conditioning the skin.  Gives the skin a healthy and radiant glow.  Assists in improving the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone and sun damaged skin.  Suitable for all skin types and should be used at any vitamin A level. Key Ingredients:  Retinyl Palmitate (vitamin A)  Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (vitamin C)  Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E)  Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5)  Beta-Carotene Application: After skin preparation and / or preferred professional treatments, end the facial treatment by applying moisturizer followed by a broad spectrum sunscreen. Hints and Tips:  The moisturizer may be applied on any skin type at the end of a facial, before the preferred Environ sunscreen is applied.  This product does not contain a sunscreen. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product.

PROFESSIONAL MASSAGE CREAM

A luxurious massage cream used for touch therapy on the body. This product contains a mild fragrance. Benefits:  

Provides slip ensuring a comfortable massage. Assists with conditioning the skin.

Key Ingredients:   

Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil) Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil Glycerin

Application: A massage medium used for touch therapy on hands, feet, décolleté. Hints and Tips:  Recommended for body, not face

PROFESSIONAL A,C,E, BODY OIL

A light, nourishing massage oil containing vitamins A, C and E to assist in nourishing and relieving the appearance of dry and sun damaged skin.

Benefits:   

Contains antioxidants that assist in shielding the skin from harmful environmental influences. Helps to nourish and condition the skin, leaving the skin looking soft and supple. Assists in improving the appearance of fine lines, uneven skin tone and sun damaged skin resulting in an overall radiance.

Key Ingredients:    

Retinyl Acetate (Vitamin A) Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (Vitamin C) Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil

Application: After skin preparation apply selected treatment serum and use Vitamin A, C & E Body Oil as a massage medium over the professional serum until absorbed, unless otherwise specified. Hints and Tips: 

Also used as part of the Environ Hand and Foot treatment.



After a few minutes of massage on the face and/or body, the oil will be absorbed and it should not leave the skin feeling greasy

ENVRION PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS: COOL PEELS

LACM 1&2 A low concentration, low pH Cool Peeling system available in a special cream formula. The numbers indicate the step-up approach to peeling. LACM 2 contains a higher concentration of Lactic Acid than LACM 1.

Benefits:   

A series of light peels do not compromise the integrity of the epidermis. A course of LACM peels help to improve the texture and appearance of sun damaged skin and uneven skin tone. The texture and appearance of an acne-prone skin becomes more refined and improved, with a course of LACM peels.

Key Ingredients:  Lactic Acid Application: Depending on the skin condition, the skin care professional should determine the number of layers and the duration of this peel. Refer to the training notes and procedures in the textbook. After skin preparation, apply LACM evenly at the selected thickness / layers on areas to be treated. Cross stroke using the peel brush to ensure an even application. Leave the product on for 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the skin condition being treated. Apply Neutralizing Cleanser to neutralize the action of the peel. Remove excess product with a damp compress

ENVRION PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS

NEUTRALIZING CLEANSER A richly foaming cleanser, formulated to deactivate the action of the peel when the skin is washed with this cleanser.

Benefits: 

Peeling action is neutralised immediately.



A cooling sensation is experienced that leaves the skin feeling comfortable

Key Ingredients:  Lactic Acid Application: Apply Neutralizing Cleanser directly onto the area that is being peeled and work it into surface of the peel, using a brush, until evenly mixed. Add water to create foam and wash to remove the peel. Refer to the training notes and procedures in the textbook. Hints and Tips: 

Lactic acid peels should be neutralised to ensure the peeling action is effectively deactivated.

Apply Professional Treatment Gel over serums. Recommended Amplification: After applying treatment serum, use Environ’s DF Ionzyme Machine to improve penetration of active ingredients using a combination of Sonophoresis and Iontophoresis. a) Apply Treatment Gel to head of probe. Visually divide the face into sections (cheeks 5 min each; forehead to crow’s feet 6 min; lip lines and chin 4 min). Use probe for Sonophoresis and Iontophoresis in each section without lifting probe off skin.

Layer AVST™ Hydrating Lotion + Alpha Hydroxy Cream Mild (younger or sensitive skin) OR Alpha Hydroxy Gel (mature sun damaged skin) + AVST ™Vitamin A,C & E Body Oil. Wrap with cling wrap or dip in paraffin wax. Leave for duration of facial or 20 minutes, then remove and apply ENVIRON® Sunscreen SPF 25.

There is always the option to use steamer for skin preparation steps 1 through 6 all of the above treatment protocols. Client new to ENVIRON® products and/or those with Rosacea symptoms / hypersensitive skin begin with Professional Treatment Gel or Colostrum, working up to A&C Serum 1, 2 or 3 over time. Recommended that client is normalized on AVST™ 3 (or C-Quence 2) prior to introducing the Intense C Peel or Intense Retinol serums. Use Haize Gauze, instead of Alginate Masque, if client allergic to iodine or seafood Cosmetic Roll-CIT treatment amplification is suitable for all skin types, except severe solar keratosis, eczema, psoriasis, raised moles, warts, skin cancer and problematic skin conditions. Preferable if skin is already well prepared on mild levels of vitamin A before this treatment is introduced.
