Bill Lee has re-joined the Plumbers Co-op after a 16 year period as Victorian State Manager. Previously, Bill worked for the Co-op for 8 years in senior management roles relating to both sales and operations. After the Co-op, Bill worked with Reliance Worldwide for 8 years as a distributor and gained a vast knowledge of the Hot Water Control Valve market, which led to his next role as Victorian Sales Manager for AVG (Australian Valve Group) and as the business was built with AVG, this led to a National Role, in which he managed the entire operation along the East Coast of Australia, and New Zealand, and with his team, built a strong business and solid reputation within the plumbing industry. We at the Co-op are very happy to have Bill re-join the team and feel sure his contribution will enhance our ongoing commitment to providing excellent service to our Members.

We would like to remind our customers of the Co-operative’s Goods Returned Policy. As a Co-operative, we believe it important that part of our service is to accept goods for return if they are in good order and condition and accompanied by paperwork. Unfortunately a small number of customers are abusing the policy and incurring unnecessary and additional costs to the Co-op. As a reminder, we would like to re-state company policy:Goods returned for credit will only be accepted if accompanied by a Sales Invoice Voucher and are in good order and condition and returned within a reasonable time. Goods not normally stocked and specially ordered are not returnable and cancellation of such orders within the delivery period will be at management discretion.

The purpose of the policy is to improve security and protect the company from fraud. Unfortunately, we have in the past, experienced loss of product through goods being given to unauthorised persons. Therefore Co-operative staff have been instructed to have customers print their name and sign for receipt of the goods at time of supply and where the customer is not known, asked to provide identification such as a drivers licence.
