To ensure maximal return on investment, the performance of the technical equipment needs to be utilized to its full capacity. This is a task for the material flow system (EWM MFS). Optimization strategies such as the dynamic selection of the optimal transport route, the creation of double cycles, dynamic transport destination allocation, and the creation of sequences of partial tasks are standard functions of the SAP Material Flow System (SAP MFS) and ensure efficient and powerful material flow in highly automated systems. inconso‘s visualization system that is integrated in SAP gives a precise overview of the situation in the plant and shows critical plant conditions and disruptions early. If the interaction of the various components with the Warehouse Management software has not been tested under real plant conditions and at nearly full capacity with a material flow simulation, problems often do not arise until after the implementation phase or after operational use has begun. Via a central dashboard, piece goods, partial load transports and load transports can be planned in one or more stages. Planning is possible manually, rule based or using algorithms. Items and routes are displayed in the integrated map material.

A typical task in transport planning is finding the right transport service provider (and, if necessary, shipping type). The inconso solution for source determination supports you in this partially complex task by simulating processes for individual SAP orders, deliveries or shipments and calculating freight costs for them. Along with prices, aspects such as relations, incompatibilities or quotas are considered during the source determination.

2. Load space optimization The integrated, 3D load space optimization supports you during the single or multi-stage planning of packages in load spaces. Taking restrictions and rules into account, products in boxes, boxes on pallets, and pallets in load spaces are optimized. Load space optimization can be used at different points in the process, such as when determining loading meters in the SAP order or the SAP delivery or when determining the optimal loading of trucks and containers.

4. Dangerous goods management The streamlined dangerous goods solution provides support during the processing of dangerous goods transports. Based on the set up dangerous goods data, it checks combined loading prohibitions and the permissibility of transport facilitations due to restricted quantities. This solution can create accompanying documents as well as analyses and statistics.

The management of returnable goods and empty goods is superimposed on the SAP standard. The standard SAP functionality was extended to include integration into the transport planning process and the automation of posting processes. Especially the integration into the planning process guarantees maximal transparency and ensures that returnable goods and empty goods accounts are always up-to-date.

The inconso Yard Management solution was developed independently and is fully integrated into the ERP process. With this solution, based on requirements, simple time window bookings or the planning and control of complex transport processes in intralogistics can be carried out. Resources are booked and the movements are controlled via a transport management system or technical devices such as log-in terminals.
