Ice fishing safari to a wilderness lake. Head north on a snowmobile trail that takes you through snowy forests up into the hills, where you can admire the beautiful surrounding countryside of Lapland. Follow the trail through white, snow-covered fields to arrive at a small wilderness lake. The silence will envelop you as you prepare to go fishing. Try your hand at traditional ice fishing and fry your catch over a campfire. Afterwards, return to your hotel for a well-earned rest. Outdoor lunch included. Snowshoe hiking trip and short husky sled ride. Each participant will be equipped with snowshoes and walking poles. Snowshoe walking itself is very easy and requires no previous experience. It provides you with good, but not too strenuous, exercise. Prepare to be amazed at the beauty of the surrounding natural environment during your walk; the pure white snow and silent forests, devoid of any other people, are truly a sight to behold. Visit a husky camp and learn about the daily life and training of these friendly Arctic dogs. Take a 15minute ride in a sled pulled by a husky team and enjoy a cup of hot berry juice around a campfire. The walking distance is 3-6 kilometres, depending on the fitness of participants. 7. CROSS COUNTRY SKIING TRIP (10:0013:00/14:00)

Cross-country skiing in the woods. Ski through beautiful, snowy woodlands on trails going up and down hillsides. Learn basic skills in sliding, stopping and the use of poles. After a while, stop for a short break in a Lappish kota (tepeelike structure), where you can fry sausages over an open fire and enjoy a freshly-brewed cup of coffee. Car trip to a reindeer farm and to Santa Claus’ Village. A guide will drive you to a local reindeer farm. Warm up beside a campfire and listen to a herdsman describe the life of a reindeer farm! Ride a reindeer sleigh and get your personal reindeer driving licence. Then carry on to the magical boundary of the Arctic Circle, where you can shop for the many wonderful handicrafts of Lapland and send letters and postcards from Santa Claus’ Post Office and meet Santa Claus in his office. 9. HUSKY SAFARI (17:45-20:15) (8:45-11:15)

Safari with husky teams. After a drive from the hotel, we’ll arrive at a husky camp, where these friendly dogs will bark an enthusiastic welcome to you. Before departing on the safari, you will be given instruction on how to control the sleds, which you will ride in pairs. Enjoy a hot drink by an open fire and chat with Husky Dundee about these northern animals before returning to the camp. SAFARI PRICES INCLUDE: All snowmobile safaris include thermal outfit, guide services in English, each snowmobile shared by two guests taking turns in driving, fuel, traffic insurance (maximum personal liability €980), maintenance and VAT. The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s licence. Note: Self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying waiver supplement €15 per driver per safari. Solo driving possibility, cost varies depending on the safari, between 1-4 h €45/per person 4- h €85/per person GENERAL TERMS: Snowmobile safaris are subject to change due to weather conditions.
