Guarantees In arranging for private functions, the attendance must be definitely specified three (3) business days in advance or the expected number will be used. This number will be your guarantee and is not subject to reduction. Hotel will set and prepare 3% over the final guarantee for groups of 100-500. For all Buffets the Hotel will set-up and prepare for the guarantee number only.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of estimate is due with the signed contract. An additional 25% is due (90) days in advance, an additional 25% is due (60) days in advance and an additional 25% is due (30) days prior to the function. 100% percent of the final payment is due five business days prior to the scheduled event based on the guaranteed number of attendees with a cashier’s check, credit card or cash. A credit card guarantee must be supplied with the signed contract as a guarantee of payment for any additional charges upon departure. A photocopy of the front and back of the credit card, complete with a legible bank phone number. This contract authorizes the Warner Center Marriott to charge the credit card on file for any unpaid amount upon the group departure. All requested deposits are non-refundable.
Labor Charges Bartenders, Carvers, Station Attendants and Butler-Style Servers are available at a $100.00 each, per 4-hour shift. $500.00 per hour overtime rate. Labor fees are subject to Service Charge and California Sales Tax.

Banquet Room & Set Up Fee Function rooms are assigned according to the anticipated guaranteed number of guests and carry a revenue minimum. If there are fluctuations in the number of attendees, the hotel reserves the right to assign accordingly the banquet room and charge an additional room rental fee or minimum to insure revenue minimums for function room assignments. The hotel reserves the right to charge a service charge fee for set-up of function rooms with extraordinary requirements. All diagrams must be pre-approved. Any major changes to the room set-up the night of the event (i.e. moving dance floor, stage or already set tables), an additional $500 labor fee will be incurred.
Service Charge and Sales Tax A 22% taxable service charge and current California state sales tax will be added to all Food and Beverage, Audio Visual, Room Rental and Miscellaneous items. California Law states that the service charge is subject to sales tax.

Arrangements for Floral Centerpieces, Special Props and Decorations may be made through the catering office. A fire permit is needed for any use of fire, candles, candle lighting or videotaping with tri-pod or boom. The Hotel will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls or ceiling of rooms without written approval from the catering office.
