Jingle all the way... Even though we just got back from our Thanksgiving break...in a few short weeks it will be time for our winter break! We have a lot of study and a lot of fun to cram into the next few weeks and need a lot of hands to make the magic happen. Holiday parties and PTO hallway decorations are underway...so make sure to volunteer in the workroom, see how you can help your teachers and make the best of the season upon us. We wish you all the very best for your holiday and safe travels as you visit family and friends. Blessings to everyone!

It is super easy to fill our yearbook with your favorite Murchison Memories! Step 1: Download Balfour’s Share app

Image

Step 2: Share your pictures of Murchison events with the yearbook team! School ID: 718223 Password: mustangs Was your 3rd or 5th grader in a music program? If so, make sure to send your best photos to the yearbook

Got some creative energy and want to help create and/or decorate the stage for our upcoming holiday programs? Mrs. Deaton would really appreciate some volunteers to work on the stage for both our Thanksgiving and Christmas programs. Then the 5th Grade Christmas program will be on December 8th and is titled “Jingle Bell Jukebox”. It is set in a 50s-60s diner and the kids will be dressed in 50s-60s attire. Regarding props, we’ll need to create a diner “counter/bar” for a student to serve shakes from behind, and then we’ll also need a jukebox, which is the focal point of the show. We will have an entire grade level on the stage for both programs, so it will be packed up there, but we’ll make it work. And, we will have a ton of fun while we do it!

To volunteer, email Mrs. Deaton at [email protected]

Assisting teachers and staff is what PTO is all about! Want to volunteer this year ? Apply online at pfisd.net and email us at [email protected] We’ve created a Facebook group page for parents who might be interested in helping out with the MES workroom (helping teachers get stuff done for their rooms/projects.) Check it out at: www.facebook.com/

Murchison Deposit Days Open a free account for your child to help them learn healthy money and budgeting skills.

At Round Up we raised $3,500 with one of these spots and unfortunately the person has only been able to park there maybe twice in 20 days that “earned it”. Same thing for the teacher spot, we are awarding it to one teacher each week, and unfortunately, the teachers are not able to park in their earned spot because of someone parking in these designated spots. Out of respect for our teachers and staff, please do not park in these spots. These are marked with a sign and reserved for these people alone.
