Curriculum Strand Theme (Essential & Professional) You will see a new theme group called ―Curriculum Strand‖ under Themes on the Browse & Search tab. This new theme resides alphabetically between Cultural Region and Demographic Orientation on the main Browse Theme page. External Reviews (Professional) In order to provide more title information, primarily for video products, ipage will display a link to an external review source when that information is available. These external reviews will be displayed only for customers who currently have the authority to see reviews on ipage. On the product detail page, a new section will be created for external reviews, with the heading Reviews Available on External Links. This new section will be displayed only when at least one external review is available for the title. A link to each review will be displayed under the new heading. The link name shown on the page will be the name of the review source (e.g. Metacritic).

Because this linked content is not controlled by Ingram, an External Link Disclaimer link will be shown in the section heading. Clicking this link will display the disclaimer:

Clicking the review source name will show the web page in a separate browser window. Back to Top

10

Grade Range Grade Range is another new data element that you can find within the Additional Information section on applicable product detail pages and in Expanded View in search results and selection lists. There will be five possible grade ranges: Preschool, K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This information will also show on the Print Version and Customer Print Version. Grade range will be a link that when selected gives you a search result of all titles assigned with that grade range.

In applicable search results, you will see Grade Range as a refining dimension on the left side of the result page.

Grade Range will also be an option in Power Search and in the Further Criteria section on the Boolean Search page. (Like the other elements under Further Criteria in Boolean Search, you can choose AND or NOT and then choose from a dropdown box of all the possible grade ranges.) Back to Top

11

Guided Reading Level Guided Reading Level is a new reading program on ipage. You can see the Guided Reading Level within the Additional Information section on applicable product detail pages. Reading Program Search Changes On the main Reading Program Search page, you will see a new program option titled ―Guided Reading Level.‖ You can either Browse All titles that have been assigned a Guided Reading Level, or you can choose Guided Reading Level as your program and then select various criteria to refine your result. Note that you can choose a specific guided reading level (or levels) or enter a range of values.

13

The result you receive after you click Search or Browse All will be similar to the results for Accelerated Reading® or Scholastic Reading Counts!™, although you will not see quiz numbers or point values since they do not pertain to this program. You will be able to sort or refine your result by guided reading level.

Change Settings/User Settings/Search Option Preferences (not INTL, HE, or PUBL) You can select ―Guided Reading Level‖ as your default reading program search by selecting it from the dropdown box on the Search Reading Program row within Change Settings/User Settings.

Sets You can now see titles described as ―sets‖ in ipage. Most of the sets you will see are classified as classroom sets— either publisher-created or Ingram-created. Sets are made up of two or more components (individual titles), but sold as a single unit with a unique product identifier. The components of a set may also be sold separately. All sets can immediately be identified by ―- Set‖ in bold after the title name. You can search, browse, and find set information in the following areas of the site: Sets - Product Detail You will see a new section on set product detail pages called Titles Included in This Set. The components of the set will display in alphabetical order by title name. Each component will be linkable to its individual product detail page and will have the following information (if available): Product Name (Title) Contributor EAN Lexile Level Guided Reading Level This information will also display in the email generated when you send title information using the ―Email other people about this product detail‖ from the product detail page.

22

If a title is a component of a set, but not a set itself, a new section called This Title is Included in the Following Set(s) will display on the page. You will see the following data elements for each set in which the title belongs (if available): Product Name (Title), EAN, Lexile Level, and Guided Reading Level. Sets will display alphabetically by product name Each set will be linkable to its individual product detail page This information will not display in the email generated when you send title information using the ―Email other people about this product detail‖ and it will not appear in the Customer Print View or Customer Concise Print View

23

Sets - Search Results In applicable search results, you will see a new refining dimension called ―Set Type.‖ You will be able to refine your result either by Ingram Sets, Publisher Sets, or All Sets.

Power Search, Boolean Search, and Reading Program Search will also give you the ability to narrow your result by Ingram Sets, Publisher Sets, or both.

24

Sets - Browse & Search Tab New Browse o A new Browse function called ―Sets‖ has been added to the Browse & Search tab which will allow you to browse all products identified as a publisher set or an Ingram set. This browse function will be similar in behavior to some of the other Browse features on ipage, e.g. Audiobook, Calendar, Spanish, etc.  After clicking the ―Sets‖ link, you will be able to refine by Set Type--either ―All Sets‖, ―Ingram Sets‖, or ―Publisher Sets‖

25

Power Search/Boolean Search/Reading Program Search o In all of these search functions, you will see a new row labeled ―Set Type‖ This row will have two options: Ingram Sets or Publisher Sets. You can choose one or both options to get a list of set titles.

New links for Video and Video Games will now be shown under Street Smart, and they will be removed from the Adult Books list. This will make it easier to review the Street Smart lists.

The Video and Video Games lists will be like the Adult Books list, with Format replacing Binding as the column heading.

Title Attributes Ipage now allows you to view title attributes which are icons that display after the title name. For example, if a title has a description, an excerpt, an image, and a review, icons for those attributes will display near the title name. This saves you from having to go to the product detail page for this information.

Here are the available attributes: Awards (All tier levels) Citation (Essential/Professional) Starred Citation (Essential/Professional) Description (Primary narrative only. All tier levels) Image (Essential/Professional) Excerpt (Professional only) Review (Professional only) Table of Contents (Professional only) Abridged (All tier levels) Unabridged (All tier levels) Full Screen (Video - All tier levels) Widescreen (Video - All tier levels) If you elect to view title attributes (see Change Settings section below), the icons will appear in the Simple and Expanded Views of search results, all listings including catalogs, and listings on the Merchandising & Promotions tab. They will not display in print version, grid print version, or on the product detail page.

28

The icons will also display in selection lists (Simple and Expanded View) and carts The icons will have title tag information attached so you can see the written description of each icon when moused over Change Settings/User Settings/Display Option Preferences To turn on or off items attributes, go to Change Settings/User Settings and scroll down to the Display Option Preferences section. For Continuations, this information will be shown for each program (Serials, Series, Travel Serials, and Youth Nonfiction Series).

Selection Lists Active and Archived Folders In order to give you a hand in organizing your selection lists, you will now have two ―folders‖ containing your lists. These folders will be accessed via new tabs on the main selection list page: Active Lists – This is the main ―lists of lists‖ page that you are used to seeing and it contains lists created or edited within the last three months Archived Lists – This folder contains lists whose last edited date was three months or more in the past These two tabs will display on all pages within the selection list function while you are viewing your ―list of lists‖ for each folder. This will allow you to easily navigate between folders. Note that the tabs will not display while you are viewing/editing the titles within a particular list. To go back to the tabs from within a list, click the Return to Selection Lists button. Clicking this button will return you to the ―list of lists‖ page for the tab in which the list you were viewing/editing resides. Some important facts to remember: A list cannot exist in more than one folder If you disable the Archived Lists folder (see Change Settings/User Settings section below), neither tab will display If you click the ―Create New List‖ Easy Click, the resulting new list will appear in the Active Lists folder. You will be forwarded to the Active Lists tab page once the new list is created and you click the Return to Selection Lists button. If you elect to disable the Archived Lists folder, the new list will display as it does today on the selection list ―list of list‖ page and you will not see the tabs

35

ACTIVE LISTS This is the current ―lists of lists‖ page and is the default view seen when you go to your selection lists from any link or icon on the site or if you click the Active Lists tab: Lists in the Active Lists folder will have all the same capabilities as lists do today Normal ―Private/Public/Shared/Program‖ list rules apply to Active Lists If you switch your list display from one type of list to another, e.g. Private to Shared, or you re-sort the contents (lists) of a folder, you will be returned to page 1 of the ―list of lists‖ page within this folder Your Hard-to-Find selection list will always remain in the Active Lists folder. It will never move to the Archived Lists folder. Even if ordered, the Hard-to-Find list will not be shaded in yellow Active lists can have paging. Paging works the same as it does today for the ―lists of lists‖ page, e.g. the number of lists you see in this folder is controlled by your ―Number of items per page on Selection Lists‖ setting under Change Settings/User Settings If you merge lists, the newly created list (New Merged List) will display in the Active Lists folder regardless of which folder the lists to be merged appeared. All your accessible lists will display in the Merge: textbox on the Merge Lists page as they do today You cannot move a selection list from Active Lists to Archived Lists (this will programmatically be done for you) ARCHIVED LISTS Archived lists are accessed when you click the Archived Lists tab. Lists that have not been edited for three months or more (including ordered lists) will automatically be placed in the Archived Lists folder. The clock for automatic deletion will not be-reset when the list is moved into this folder programmatically. These lists, like all lists, will still automatically delete 13 months from the last time they were updated.

The default sort for the lists in this folder is alphabetical by list name

36

Lists in the Archived Lists folder will have all the same capabilities as lists do today Normal ―Private/Public/Shared/Program‖ list rules apply to archived lists If you switch your list display from one type of list to another, e.g. Private to Shared, or you re-sort the contents (lists) of a folder, you will be returned to page 1 of the ―list of lists‖ page within this folder Archived lists can have paging. Paging works the same as it does today for the ―lists of lists‖ page, e.g. the number of lists you see in this folder is controlled by your ―Number of items per page on Selection Lists‖ setting under Change Settings/User Settings If you order, download, email, apply a title or list lock, change properties, or price the list for an archived list without making modifications, it will remain in the Archived Lists folder If you view a list, change the sort order of a list, or change the display view of a list, it remains in the Archived Lists folder If you edit and update an archived list (Update Page), it will move to the Active Lists folder. You will remain within your list, but now the list is in Active Lists If you add items to an archived list, it will move to the Active Lists folder If you alter an archived list while in Product Detail Browse, it will move to the Active Lists folder Any list that moves from the Archived Lists folder to the Active Lists folder will have its Last Edited date updated to reflect the date of the last modification. (Modifying the ―Last Edited‖ date for a list is current functionality) Recovering a list deleted from the Archived Lists folder will place it back in the Archived Lists folder If you click the Return to Selection Lists button while viewing/editing within an archived list, you will be returned to the main page of lists in the Archived Lists folder ORDERED LISTS/DOWNLOADED LISTS Lists that are ordered THROUGH IPAGE, regardless of which folder they reside, will be shaded in yellow Even though ipage only retains 6 months of order history, a list will be shaded yellow if it was ordered during its life cycle (as long as it displays on ipage). The order history dropdown box for a list would not display any order history for orders older than 6 months since ipage no longer has access to that information, however it will still display a Last Ordered date Downloaded lists, regardless of folder, will be shaded in blue If a list has been both downloaded and ordered, the list will be shaded in yellow. The shading will appear gray (see prototype for ordered gray vs. downloaded gray) when in print view

37

CHANGE SETTINGS/USER SETTINGS You do have the ability to toggle off and on the viewing/automatic placement of lists in the Archived Lists folder on the User Settings page under Selection List Option Preferences: Archived Lists Folder: Options are ―On‖ and ―Off.‖ The default is ―On‖ o Turning this folder ―off‖ will remove your folder tabs and put lists from both folders together in the same location. Turning the folder ―on‖ will automatically move lists which have not been edited for 3 months or longer to your Archived Lists folder. If you turn off this folder, the tabs on the Selection List page will be removed and the lists in both folders will display together. No lists will be deleted

CHANGE SETTINGS/USER SETTINGS – DUPLICATE CHECK FROM SELECTION LISTS You can use the duplicate check function to find selection lists, regardless of folder. The duplicate check settings within User Settings allow you to duplicate check across folders. o Lists displaying on the duplicate check results page will display the folder name in which the list resides. o If you turn off the Archived Lists folder, the folder names will not display If you make a modification to an archived list within the duplicate check results page, the list that received the modification will move to the Active Lists folder and its Last Edited date will be updated to reflect the date the modification occurred Shading will not be used on the duplicate check results page

38

SIMPLE SEARCH – SELECTION LISTS You can still use Simple Search to find selection lists, regardless of folder. (Current selection list search rules apply as to which lists you can access) Each list in the result will display the name of the folder in which the list resides. The ordered and downloaded shading can be seen in selection list simple search results o If you turn off the Archived Lists, folder names will not display You can sort by folder type once arriving at the search result by choosing ―List Folder‖ in the Sorted by: dropdown box o If this sort option is selected, the lists on the page will be grouped by Active Lists and Archived Lists. The lists will sort alphabetically by list name within these groupings o If you turn off the Archived Lists folder, this sort option will not be available

STOCK AVAILABILITY CHECK The Choose Selection List dropdown box on the Stock Availability Check page under the Order tab will contain all your accessible lists regardless of folder You can copy or move titles from the Stock Availability Result Page to any accessible list regardless of folder (security/lock rules apply). If you copy or move a title from the result page into a list in the Archived Lists folder, the Last Edited date for that list will update to the current date and the list will move to the Active Lists folder Back to Top
