We are a very busy medical clinic seeing over 1500 outpatients a month both here at the clinic and in our 9 outreaches to surrounding villages. We are an ART center for HIV patients and have over 1000 patients on antiretroviral in our HIV care. We are involved with maternal/child health serving the communities with antenatal care, labor and delivery, postnatal, family planning and under five immunizations. The clinic has 6 beds for medical admissions and we also have a 6 bed maternity center for deliveries. Last year we had 597 deliveries in the clinic as well as supervised home deliveries. We have a very successful protocol in place for PMTCT (Prevent Mother to child transmission of HIV).

Provides the highest possible level of health services to all people in Uganda through delivery of promotive, preventive, curative, palliative and rehabilitative health services at all levels. A non-government organization that works towards the well-being of children with Nodding Syndrome. Papoli village is located in Iyolwa sub county, west Budama county, Tororo district, Uganda. South borders Busia district along river Malaba/Malawa which flows into lake Kyoga and joins river Nile. East borders Osukuru subcounty in Tororo county, north Poyameri Village along Tororo- Jinja/Kampala highway which also leads to Mombasa port in Kenya; also in Iyolwa sub county and west Nambogo village. Papoli village stretches a length of about 4×3 miles, half of which is communal grazing swampy land with no settlements. Conducts innovative and relevant health research in infectious diseases, communicable and noncommunicable diseases, and reproductive health and to provide health related services in order to improve public health and inform policy. With that RHSP, initially the Rakai Project was started to provide a better understanding of the epidemiology of HIV/AIDS in Rakai district of Uganda, of HIV in this country. International Health Sciences University is committed to improving the health of slum populations through research and community-based activities and initiatives. The University has built a network of community liaison personnel among which include: community local leaders, women representatives, cultural and religious leaders, youth representatives and community health volunteers. This network acts as a channel of communication between the University and the community in areas of health improvement and well-being through research and dialogue. With a wealth of health workers trained at the University, community programs are smoothly implemented and monitored by the graduate students. The students have played a fundamental role in making a difference in healthcare within deprived communities. To rescue vulnerable and economically disadvantaged children from their dire circumstances in which they are currently living, by providing housing, their basic necessities and education. ETHIOPIA Our program in Ethiopia works closely with the Government of Ethiopia and other partners to help reduce maternal mortality and morbidity by increasing access to and quality of sexual and reproductive health services. Our organization provides long-acting and permanent methods through 10 mobile clinical outreach teams that target hard-to-reach areas.
